Hey I looked at your textures tutorial on your site, and I'm having a hard time. Do I have to know how to load a texture from scratch, or should i just focus on how it works?

I'm gonna answer from my own experience! Back in 2003, I was young enough to make the worst learning mistake of my programmer life! Learning how to write something by heart from scratch.. Don't waste your time on the syntax! The syntax doesn't matter, just focus on the logic, the mathematic behind each principle.. Then just focus on the OpenGL routines. Once you've understood how everything works, thing will be much more easier and you'll build great things ;)
