  • The fuck stop shaking the device so much it drives me crazy

  • has this player ogg support ? ahhh .. I really like you voice :)

  • Ching chongs making videos now

  • I want it to have a vertical view....

to make it look like an apple LOLOL

  • how do you change the color of the ''buttons'' in the menu (: ?

  • Can u watch movies on it?? and can u connect it to iTunes??????

  • idle shutdown turns the device off. X-fi brings back lost detail to mp3 files. Battery life lasts up to a whole day depending on the method of use.

  • why why??? why dirty a good mp4 player with Gaga's song?? WHY???

  • My Creative Zen Vision M just got a cracked screen today. :( need a new one.

  • Comment removed

  • Vietnamese ?

  • heyy i was just wondering who responsive the screen was cause it looks like you have to touch it quite hard to make it work reply as soon as possible plz

  • @loxi97

Its not as responsive as the iPod Touch, so if you're used to that responsiveness, it will take some getting used to. I had never used an iPod Touch for any decent length of time before I bought this, so it was pretty easy to get used to.

It just takes some getting used to =D

  • is this device good? like the sound and stuff great video thanks

  • I wanna buy this but I have one really important question, can you put music on it which you download from torrents? or limewire w/e :p I mean I read on this site it stops copyrighted songs but I have no idea if that means I can't put songs from torrents on it ;o you had any problems?

  • @BoomerTwins you can use songs from torrents

  • how do you set the year on this mp3?? i see the month and day but i can't see the option to set the year.

  • the video player on this thing sucks. doesn't even look standard quality.

  • is it a good voice recorder , especially for college use ?

  • Do not buy the Zen X-Fi2!!! I have one and I regret expending that money! The interface is so bad it looks like a Matrix touch - in slow mo. Video goes out of sync and image freezes after a couple min playing. Sound quality not better than 10$ players and worst with x-fi tech (poping sound even with good quality speakers) and mine also turns on automatically playing a song with external speaker while recharging... lol! worst creative product I've ever(and will) bought

  • Hi:D, did u add a memory card to it? and does it come with any pre-installed games?

  • @bloodstinged no and no

  • @costinmatei98 I recently bought it and it came with sudoku, and a few other apps.

  • Comment removed

  • lol silly idle shutdown is not "screen saver mode", it turns off the player so that you don't drain the battery if you're not using it, and if you lock it, and the screen turns black ..that saves you some battery too :D

  • the software creaitve central sucks big time..

  • are you a philippino

  • Personally, I would prefer this over the touch. I don't have a need for internet and the FLAC support makes this player a win. And you voice also makes this player a win.

  • does anyone know how much the 16GB costs?

  • @mammoth777

Check Amazon or the Creative Online Store.

  • @mammoth777 120 $ U.S.

  • Resistive touch screens have a lot of limitations which is why I tend to shy away from them. It looks a lot like an iPod Touch design wise. The UI looks choppy but resistive touch-screen PMPs tend to do that and no matter what, a speaker on a PMP will sound crap (look at the iPod Touch's).

  • @RandomPinoy09

I can name a few resistive touch devices that perform fairly well.

THe only reason I'd want a resistive touch screen MP3 player is because you can use a stylus with this.

  • @Caratris This should be one of them. The only resistive touch devices I know of are horribly made (the Zen is an exception) and are sold at corner stores or a local walgreens. Can you name a few devices?

  • @RandomPinoy09

The Archos 605 is one. And there are a few android devices that perform acceptably using resistive touch screens.

  • @Caratris I've tried an Archos Android device. Works pretty well. I would buy that, but since the Galaxy player is coming around, I might as well wait for that

  • Hello Youtube Community, I am looking for people who own this particular MP3 player because i my self am considering to purchase one of these over an 160GB I pod Classic but i am wondering which one is the better player by far i trust that the Creative has the way better audio quality but by how much? What would you rate it on a scale of 1-10? and the SD cards, are you able to sync it into a music folder so when you want to listen to the music on the SD it will be in the Arists Folder Etc.?

  • You don't have anything else to do in your life ?

    Klostak

  • I have one, and i don't know how to transfer my videos onto it, please help me?? : ( x Windows media videos won't go onto it, i'm not sure how to do it, please tell me : ).

  • jup.für den preis.gekauft.1a.n1.

  • all it needs is WI FI

  • @PaMeLaBbY13

    i agree

  • Can you record from the FM radio? Thanks for the review, it was very nice.

  • The Touch Screen Quality was really Bad!

  • @GameMasterinMs Is it still usable as time goes on?

  • @megad31h Nope Instead i adkes for a refund and I've gotten a full refund!

  • @megad31h Nope instead I've gotten a full refund however the sounds was really good but due to its poor screen quality i think I-Pod Touch would be a better choice for an MP4

  • THere is apps

    xeroo.net

  • @timoxomit Mate get the I pod touch I have that and it is fucking awsome .. Don't go with your friend coz he is chatting SHiT end of ... I think his jelouse becuase you getting the I pod

  • Wow nice review, Can you help me, I'm getting a new mp3 for christmas and what shoud I get, this or the ipod touch? My friend who has this player recommended me to get this what do you think?

  • @timoxomit For music by far you want the Creative in my opinion the Creative Zen's are the best out there for Sound and music but if you want to mess around for example with apps etc. pick the touch, it is all a matter of preference.

  • @megad31h

I think the Samsung P3 sounds better than the Zen. Although I had the original Zen, not the X-Fi. If you want excellent sound Quality, I recommend buying a Samsung, or Cowon device. Zune HD sounds good too, though. And I heard the Sandisk Sansa Clip sounds great too.

  • @Caratris i ordered a zune hd 32 gb brand new, but i think it was used because the battery lasts 3 hrs. and yes it did have good audio, but no bulit in speaker

  • @FACLESSFABIAN

Sounds like yours may have had a defective battery, because one of my siblings has a Zune HD 16gb and get's at least 10 hours.

  • @Caratris yeah, i sent it back to amazon and im waiting on my money now!

  • there shouldnt be any apps... its for music only

  • sucha cutee voiceeeeeee

  • It looks quite sluggish in terms of navigation.

  • thumbs up if you think they need to loose the plastic

  • I can't seem to find out if media on the MicroSD can be played from the SD card, or if it MUST be imported to the internal storage before it can be played. I'd like to add a storage card to double the capacity of a smaller one for a lot less, but it seems like all the SD slot is good for it is importing media to the internal storage (meaning it doesn't add any storage at all). Can you clarify this for me?

  • it lags.....and i hate thing that lags.......

  • Hei. I was wondering if you know if Creative Zen Z-FI 2 needs i tunes for transfering the songs or if its possible with a drag and drop system? I would appreciate it if you could send me. I am planning buying it for my brother.

  • @morfes13

yeah, you can drag and drop music into the folder. with videos, though, you have to use the Creative Centrale program.

  • @morfes13 I just bought my Zen XFi 2. The directions are poor. The software that comes with the unit is crappy. You can drag and drop media to the player and to the SDHC card. You can verify the media is there in Windows Explorer, but I can't find most of it from the player, and my music I could find did not retain my order or directory structure. It lacks a good browser. It is harder to add media as the Trio V7000 or the Archos players, and easier than iPod.

  • oops oops oops :-D Your cute

  • u sound hot

  • Glass or plastic?

  • @Bananas138

    plastic

  • I'd rather listen to the girl than the MP3. Great Review, Cute Chick and Nice Voice

  • Hi there,

currently i own a Meizu M6 and i am wondering if the sound quality is on par with this creative zen?

    TQ

  • @TheGhx

I'm not sure what you're asking. Um if you are talking about comparing the sound quality of both players, i don't really know. i only have the zen

  • Hi, I have a zen v plus, and Im planing to buy a new one, so, I was wondering if one of these new version of players, has a software or an app or something to see the lyrics of the songs?, thks, :)

  • @josesk81991

so far I haven't found anything to read lyrics while listening. so i'd say no :)

  • is there a way i can read somekind of text files on it?

im not talking about rss feeds, just regular text.

  • @Sarnarath

    i haven't tried that yet O.O

  • Hi, nice review...didnt quite catch what the X-fi changes though...does it make the music a lot better? Oh, and nice voice by the way ;)

  • @SuperPianoman1234 well from other reviews, for discerning audiophiles (like me :) it seems the crystaliser and the expand modes do a good enough job considering its a portable media player. however i think like eq settings this consumes battery life. personally thinking of getting this or ziio 7 or galaxy tab. if the music is comparable to an onboard soundcard in a computer, im sold.

  • does it have msn on it, bcse i read a review that said it did?

  • @boomchicken97

i don't have wifi on it so i'm really sure there's no msn on it

  • The positive thing about Creative ZEN is the sound settings (personalised settings...if we don't like the presets) the SD port (I don't know why the touchZEN has a microSD port, but my Creative ZEN (the normal one) has a SD port (none micro)).

4:40 , ok then, I think the story isn't for me.

  • wow i like your personality, and ur so cute!! (in a nice way) :D great review

  • Just to add to what I said before: Highly recommended. I managed to drop it (doh); it bounced off the floor & ricocheted off wooden furniture but it still plays perfectly, not a scratch on the screen or a mark on the body. Very good build quality. The supplied buds are (in direct comparison with my other 5 pairs, inc a Sony) just the best I've ever heard. More volume, excellent range & subtleties you don't hear on other buds. X-fi works very well (you have to enable it). Vids are razor sharp.

  • Yes that was a good review and you have a very nice voice.

    A few more questions

    1) Is it packaged with an external power adapter or can it only be charged by a computer via the USB?

    2) I bought a creative zen stone a few years ago and although the sound quality is top notch the headphones supplied were awful. Are the supplied headphones adequate?

    3) Does it crash at all?

    4) Does the screen scratch easily?

  • @MrRarghr

    1) USB only. The cable is only like 12 cm long.

    2) They are EARphones, the sound quality is amazing

    3) Mine didn't crashed yet, have it for 7 months now.

    4) No, but the back of the mp4-player will. It's cheap plastic.

The only advise I can give you to avoid scratches is not to drop it, it will break in pieces very easily.

  • I had some problems with charging the xFi 2. Sometimes I couldn't turn on the xfi anymore. Also I accidentally dropped the player and it now has a huge hole at the bottom right corner so the 'silver' is just cheap ass silver (Also feels like that). I smashed this piece of crap player and raped it's ass. People... DON'T BUY THIS!

  • I bought one last week. The first 36 hours were a nightmare. But now video plays: not MP4 or WMV, but converting FLV to AVI with a free program has produced great quality vids. No problems with WMA & MP3. The Creative Centrale software is pretty flaky but you can do most things without it: connect the device, My Computer, & create folders & copy over trax. The software is only really needed for playlists. Radio etc excellent.

Having persisted, this is a fine piece of kit & I'd buy it again.

  • Hi xMixNguyenx. I had a question. I was wondering if the setting for backlight actually shuts the backlight off completely? I have an original Creative Zen 8GB, and I hated that you had to put the power switch on hold for the backlight to shut off. Could be why the battery doesn't keep a decent charge anymore. Always having to remember to put on hold. Thanks! :)

  • Maximum Ride... Is that the same one I've been seeing in the manga section?

  • it's got apps?

  • seems kinda slow. Hope i dont regret ordering it!

  • iPod Touch look-a-like, NICE!

You make it sound so easy I wanna buy one.

I have one of the older Zen's (which did his service and is now slowly going to rest), and I loved how easy it is to use it.

  • i need help!! i just bought one ,,now heres my problem, uhhm how can i activate my contacts?!! pr how does this contacts thing goes ?!

  • That was a great review thank you. 3 questions if I may.

    1) You were saying it's better to control with a Stylus, but what's it like using your fingers, did you find you had to press and rub the screen to get things to work?

    2) If you get a Stylus, is there a a place on the device to store it?

    3) What was the camera you recorded the review with and would it be good for concerts?

Thank you and please keep up the reviews :)

  • @thenodfather

    1. it's easier to control the options using a stylus. with fingers, sometimes, i need to attempt selecting an option more than once. i don't have to rub my fingers

    2. there's no place for a stylus to be held on this mp3 player

    3. JVC HD hard drive camera GZ-HD300BUS i've tried to use it on my sister's concert; on a scale of 1 to 10 of the quality, i'd say it's about 7-8. hope that helps

  • @xMixNguyenx

That helps allot, thank you very very much MixNguyen. That is really good. I know how to make a better choice now :)

  • UM OH YEAH UM BUT WHAT OH YEAH UM BUT YEAH YOU KNOW YEAH BUT UM OH OOPS WHAT OH OOPS WHAT OH YEAH WHAT UM OH UM ER UM ER OH WHAT OOPS WHAT OH OOPS fantastic review does this thing actually do anything

  • @klunk64 Yes, isn't it great?

  • if mine doesn't charge what should, could i do?? please i need help :L:L

  • @Harrypop97 1st

    Try with diferent charger

    2nd

    Try with diferent cable

    3rd

If none of these doesn`t work trow it out in the garbage:D

  • Bought a Zen Touch back in Xmas '04 I think. Broke it today so looking for a replacement. Great review but just wondering about sound quality and loudness.

I've read other reviews about the good sound quality but the volume has been limited. Is that true and can it be disabled?? The Zen sounded great thru my Senheisers

    Cheers

  • can u explain how the music is uploaded in to the mp3 player thanks

  • Thanks for a very good review. Does it have a good video quality? - Would like to use it for movies. By the way, you have a pleasant voice.

  • @robert4you

thank you. the videos play very well on this player

  • did u had any problem when u bought this???

cuz i been reading alot of reviews and the problems they had was charging the mp3 player becuz it wouldnt charge

    plzz respond back soon

  • @easymagic123

so far, i haven't had any problems charging it or any problem at all. maybe i have good luck lol

  • Hmmm it seems really god but I don't know whether or not to buy it as she had trouble with the touch screen and recent reviews that I have read say the same thing :/ if anyone has got one what do they think of it?

  • i like ur voice:D

  • hmm cool i guess but not worth over 100 dollars now if it was like 15 dollars then maybe

  • does it have wifi catapillars?? can u get on the internet?? :?

  • Hi mixnguyen Today is Saturday 24/ july/2010 where i am.

I was looking for a review on the ZEN xfi2.....because i am planning to by a new MP3 player...I watched another review but there was no commentary, it was just music. So i looked further and found your review .Anyway, i'd just like to say that your review was brilliant. It conveyed the excitement of getting something new.

  • How do i can put videos on it ?

i use movies i downloaded with Vuze.

  • youre wrong. there are loads of apps, just have to learn where to find them...

    xeroo.net has almost every apps

  • Comment removed

  • You dont have to press the on button until the player go's on.

    One press is enough.

  • is there an apps for it?

  • The Zen x-fi 2 and iTouch are only £40 apart in cost :O

  • Hi,

I realised that it doesn't come with a charger, when searching into it!

Does this run on a lifelong battery, or do you have to buy a separate adapter?

    thankksss :D

  • @rhys1370 Connect it with a mini usb to Usb 2.0 on to a computer or anything that supports USB2.0

  • @rhys1370

The player comes with a USB cable when you plug it into the computer that charges it.

  • Does this come in 16 GB too

  • @Bieberj11 Yeah it does. thats the size I want.

  • Cute Girl + Cool Gadgets + Great Nails = EPIC WIN!!!

  • wow she is very cute on the video

    i like her

  • Pretty good review, it made me buy my own Zen X-Fi 2!

  • that power button is only needed to press once, not even one second to get it on, i have one

  • @NikoliZZer True!

  • @pyradarknurse 1) Yes you can just drag and drop without using the Creative Central... For your second question I never tried before, sorry..

  • i have some question, hope u guys can answer it b4 i bought this!!!!

    1. can i transfer video and play it fine without using creative central??

    2. can i play videos using videos on the micro sd without importing to the main memory??

    TY!!!

  • can i organize my videos with many folders????

i heard about something bad in microSD library????

  • hi :)

i watched your video and decided to buy the xfi2

its really cool and i love it but i can't figure out how to put videos on it

could you tell me how you did it and what format you converted to please?

    thank you

  • should i get this or the x-fi?

  • Good review.

I was thinking about purchashing this player, now I don`t. I will definetli buy it.

    Thanks.

P.s. Sorry for my bad english!

  • It seems that this device's touch screen's response time is slower than I thought.

  • uve a lovely voice :) good review aswell, tell me this and tell me no more, how does it compare to zen vision m in picture quality ?

  • The Zen XFi 2 is really better than a ipod :)

    @xMixNguyenx you are the best

  • This player is better than a iPod touch :-O *5

  • I like your voice. ^_^ Good review!

  • need to know where to get that in Canada or online store to buy

    pls get me bac

  • where do u get that cuz im finding one

  • is the touch screen responsive?

  • wow... the touchscreen on this isn't perfect but its not as bad as she makes it look.

  • nice review.

and dont be bothered about not being able to buy the tiuch, this one is better, not as cool but better. sound quality etc. the touch is only good if u want something ''cool''

  • Ive read the maximum ride series lol. btw nice review xD

    creative #ftw

  • What is the maximum video resolution you can watch on the X-fi 2?

  • @RX7Drifter90

no idea =/ sorry. but so far with all the videos i've downloaded, i haven't had any problems about the resolution

  • @RX7Drifter90

    640x480

  • @RX7Drifter90 the screens resolution is 400*240

  • you seemed to have a difficulty of using the tocuh screen

  • @handsomelok

yeah. i was having problems. using my thumbs wasn't the smartest thing use on a touchscreen.

  • @xMixNguyenx where did you buy it amazon.com or a store etc... please responde

  • @xMixNguyenx Your thumbs are ok, is just that the touchpad is a resistive one, is not a capacitive, like the Ipod or others. That's why Zen is cheaper than Ipod.

But I think that is not a big problem.

I think I'll buy this Creative Zen. Is what I'm looking for.

  • can i used any 3.5mm AV out jack in this device???

in the philippines we dont have creative store to buy an creative AV out jack!!!!

    TY!!!

  • @gellibiek

i've tried so many different av chords on this device. i have no idea what's wrong with it. sorry i couldn't be of much help.

  • @xMixNguyenx

thanks also!!!! still i love to get one but i want to watch film on my TV....ipod touch is great but i hate itunes!!! i want one!!!!

  • Great video,

I have always used Creative X-Fi products in my PC and I was looking around for an alternative to the iPod. This looks like something I would like, though TBH I would rarely or ever use the video or photo feature. I just want something I can take to the gym and not have CDs skip on me.

You do have a cute voice BTW.

  • you sound like a cute girl

    sup cute girl

  • Two things that I like about Creative

It is just an amazing quality of sound and a great screen.

  • n did ur player come with the colors on ur music pics and video icons? n if it didnt how exactly did u change dat?

  • @LINDSAYMARCH9 update the firmware
