@bmpeak i whole heartedly agree, I was pretty gutted when i bought the road to riches album and this wasnt on it, the album version sounds too dressed up and over produced, and thus ,for me, it lost its hard edge. i waited a long time to hear this version again and it sounds just as punchy and raw as it did then. thank you thank you thank you for postin this, it took me right back to when i took up grafitti seriously. 39 now and still breathin the fumes, u.s to u.k., handz across the ocean.PEACE

@gunneddown213 this is the single release, i think it's a bit different than the album release if i remember correctly... single was released way before the album... b-side is "i'm fly" and i think polo had a cut before this simply called "dj polo", not sure if kool g was rapping on that one (i forget it's been awhile)... but that cut was the joint as well for it's time, not a classic like this one though... ah great times!

A little history...my boy jammed this on his box outside the school when it first dropped. I made up a dance (kind of a jazzed up Charleston) to the beat. Two girls passing by tried to mimic what I was doing but could'nt. They did a watered down version of my dance. Later, I saw their watered down version in the clubs. They called it the "Running man". I thought it was an abomination of my original. LOL
