I absolutely hated this pedal and bought an old vintage Boss CE-2 it was like night and day, the boss simply blew this piece of trash out of the water. my brain just buzzes when I hear my guitar played through the Boss. now the arion tubulator was a different story that pedal sounds great I bought the SCH-Z CHORUS because I was impressed with their overdrive pedal but it turned out to be trash tone mud in my humble opinion.

I have a Arion SCH-Z also, how much betterdoes the mod make it sound? It's really a great pedal stock, better than Boss or Ibanez chorus pedals inmy opinion. Does the stereo not work after the mod because of the Vibe effect selector? Thanks for the demo.

Pretty good! I still prefer my SCH-1, much warmer. It's just a matter of taste really, I hate shimmery choruses.

He has the tone set rather high so that might be why it's shimmery.

nay, the tone is quite neutral at this setting. i think it's the guitar/amp setting that makes it shimmering.

btw. a great chorus. should they change the casing to the metal one, just like the rest of their pedals, it would be worth the money.

Can you tell me how you wired the switch? I'm trying to rehouse but can't figure out the switch.  I've successfully done TS-808 mods on my Arion Tubulator.

I need to know the same thing as well. the only way i can see it is to take the foot pedal off from the front and put in a stomp switch where the spring goes.

i played this one, sounds really clear and gutsy. not too extreme of a vibrato..

Cool Mod. I have The SCH-1 wich must me at least 20 years old. This one Sounds more sparkly. The SCH-1 sounds warmer and deeper to me.
