it seems to me that every beta build looks better and worse than the real version of the game. for example : the pit is TERRIBLE looking, no shaders or bright colors, just 2D looking boxes and such. however valhalla and narrows look amazing. the grahpics on valhalla and narrows for the shiny metal looks really good, the halo 3 alpha had some pretty decent shaders, it seems to me they toned down the shaders in the real version of h3. wtf is up with gunfire?? every beta bungie made has bad gunfire

Valhalla has some busted trees in it, there is the rolling bubble shield, sometimes a weapon icon is under the grenades, the flag is also like it was on halo 2, and of course the pit. Plenty of it is alpha, NothingfaceInsider.

dude, the maps came from de video "Is Quisnam Protero Damno!" the guys played those maps, and all maps are beta, so thats not alpha.
