  • Thank you for posting this video even thou I've seen it more then 100 times i still like it. The best thing ever happened to music was CYNDI LAUPER

  • madonna zzzz lady gaga zzzzzzzzz et al Wake up! This is how its done.

  • i loved that she was in gossip girl!

  • 1 person aint got no money

  • She Was So Kawaii!

  • love seeing that Simmons electric drum kit at 4:41,the 80's personified lol

  • Back when the only bald man in the world was kojack ....

  • GREAT CINDY

  • OH yeaaah...changes everything...

  • What I recall and clearly is that this was the official video that came out on M.T.V. when M.T.V. was nothing but videos. Hell of a song for all including drummers looking for a good drum cover song. This video from what I recall was recorded live at the Summit in Houston, TX. which I do not think even exists anymore.

  • cyndi still rocks after those years...good memories

  • WOW this song can serve as a good metaphor of the relationship between voters and the politician.

  • I guess I should've clarified...Debbie Harry, not Gibson ;-)

  • the 80's were awesome just like the music :)

  • Comparing her to Stevie or Debbie is downright crazy. I adore those two women, however, they are TERRIBLE live. Years of drug abuse has damaged their vocal talents. If you're gonna compare Cyndi to anyone, compare her to someone in her league, like Pat Benatar. Classically trained in Opera, has a killer rock voice, and is SICK live!

  • @rubyfire77 When has Debbie Gibson been on drugs? I didn't know she was an addict.

  • I haven't seen this video for years...the best performance of this song live

  • I LOVE YOU CYNDI.....

  • NO LA COMPARES CON NINGUNA...HUMILDAD ANTE TODO

  • QUEEN......FOR EVER THE QUEEN

  • @edugagacyndi i love cyndi lauper she is crazy!! she born to make me happy!!

  • @edugagacyndi i lke very in the song!!

  • princess and a classy one

not a bitch like the others

  • the queen,forever THE QUEEN !!!!

  • SHE IS A FCKING GREAT DIVA WITH A VERY HIGH PITCHED AND WIDE VOCAL RANGE.. :).

  • The rapid fire "mo-neh" is one of the dumbest noises I've ever heard from a human being, let alone a professional singer. Ergo, one of the dumbest songs I've ever heard because of the recurring noises from the singer.

  • Thank-You for giving Tom Gray due respect for writing the song. Awesome and timeless tune.

  • I saw her do this at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto. What a great show!

  • I like it when she takes out the trash lol

  • i was here !!! this was filmed in houston tx !!!!

  • She can still hit those really high notes, saw a vid of her recently this same song and damn, she still can rock it.

  • Is there a grammy or something for best performance in a live recording? Because this would have won. One of the best of the whole era. I love how her real, more powerful voice, pops up in this song. This song alone was worth the ticket price.

  • I've always liked this video. I haven't seen it since the 80s (on MTV). Not exactly Stevie Nicks or Debbie Harry, but she did have a style.

  • @abingdon66 I don't know what you mean by "not exactly Stevie Nicks or Debbie Harry, but she did have style". She had WAY more than just style. She has incredible talent and vocal, and a certain undefineable quality. She's way up there shoulder-to-shoulder with the greats of the music industry, including but not limited to Stevie Nicks and Debbie Harry. Get a clue.

  • The best and unparalled!!

  • This is the official video for this tune? Well, to each her own, right?

  • @kja427 its the official video

  • @mtvbillboard Back in the good old days before auto tuners. When artists had talent.

  • @Warthogfan yeah she rocks

  • @Warthogfan Hell ya to that statement!!!

  • @mtvbillboard Really? Thought there was a story one like Time After Time...

  • @Kramona this is the official video

  • @kja427 this is the way i remember the song

  • I just wasted an hour watching the young artistsof today against the likes of Cyndi and early Mariah and other 80s, 90s divas and those young autotune lip synching wanna be divas need to seriously need to learn how to sing live if they want to stand the test of time.. sorry Rihanna, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga fans, I too am a fan but the proof is undeniable!! check the vids!!!

  • No se si sepas español.. pero :

ME GUSTO DE A MADRE ESTE VIDEO.... TENIA COMO 8 AÑOS CUANDO LO VI X ULTIMA VEZ....

I LIKED SO MUCH THIS VIDEO... 8 YEARS AGO THAT I SAW IT, THAT WAS THE LAST TIME

  • I've aways loved her! Her songs, her cuteness, and her vitality! I also loved the way she included her mother in several videos. Sweet!

  • I burst out laughing when she flew over the audience in a trash can. Still a great performance though. Wow, real instruments. I remember the days when bands actually played.

  • wowww

  • One of the best female singers I can think of.

  • mis-match 'Cons'...and she's rockin' her lil' ass off. Truer words were never spoken in America...money changes EVERYTHING.

  • Idolaaaa!!!!!

  • This was back in the 80s when female singers could actually sing.

  • @Markus77x7 dont be such a snob, the 80s gave us kylie and madonna who cant sing, every decade snobs say the past was better, they said it in the 80s and they say it now, dull.....

  • LOVE U CYNDI!!!!!!!!!

  • awe....one of my all time favs!!
