I was just glossing this song the other day, loved seeing your interpretation. Call me weird but for some of the MoM songs that use specific names, I actually made signs for. I know they arn't legit, but it does make it easier lol ....
Hi. Well, I already knew the song when I found this video but I decided to watch with the sound off because I'm learning sign language right now. (Mostly because I almost lost my ability to speak a few months ago and I want to be able to communicate if I really lose it, but that's unrelated) I was surprised how much of it I got and how close to the actual song lyrics people can get. You did great!
@crismarieissonotcool Thanks. :) Funny story, I learned ASL while studying for my degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, because I want to be a Speech Pathologist, so I know a lot about Augmentative and Alternative Communications, as well as speech disorders. Hope everything turns out okay for you!
This was great, I love it, I'm English and have been trying to put this song into BSL but it's very hard, with it my mum being deaf and not me, it's quite hard. How long did it take you to translate?
@ThexRandomxVloggers Glossing the lyrics usually only takes me a few minutes with every song I do, but it depends on how much I need to look up online. With this song, I think there were only like 4 or 5 signs I didn't know. On the other side of things, my video of "Kentucky Rose" took a lot longer, because I needed to look up and practice a good 50 to 75 percent of the signs.
No fing way! That was I first reaction. I seriously signed this song last week for my ASL class and my teacher who is a huge HP fan. Great job and amazing facial expression.
WOW!! I had a deaf teacher for ASL in high school and seriously this looks fantastic. It reminds me of the songs he taught us and looks pretty damn accurate. (: Great Job! You rock!
this was just amazing..I was really about to cry...I can´t put my feeling in english words, ´cause my english isn´t very good, but I just want to say, that you did a great job and I want to thank you for this video
i was surprised how much i actually understood of your signing. i haven't taken it since last year and i haven't practiced since. it was really really good, though, and very clear. i really liked how you got into it. it made it very fun to watch. :)
@lukeconard Well, Wrock lyrics are a bit more difficult to interpret, being so specialized. But then again, an expressive interpretation just gets better with more illustrative language.
@pwnsomeandrew I can assure you, this was the best (read: most correct) take I did at 2:30am. I'm proud of it, but it's not 100% correct. But that's also because I'm not Deaf (meaning the community, deaf meaning no hearing) or a professional interpreter. But, it's good enough to pass the message along. :)
Amazing. <3 I love your interpretation of this song... honestly, and ASL is just beautiful, you have a pretty good flow in all your actions as you sign the song. I wish you luck in the contest!

@jjordan2022 Thanks a lot. :) It's funny how a WROCK song based on the Deathly Hallows is so relevant to today's culture and society.

Good interpretation. Way better than my signing. I'm always so literal, and my vocab is terrible. You changed up things, but the meaning was good. :)

Great idea, I don't know if your signing is correct or not but it sure looks good to me haha.
