I admire melinda and Bill too for their good intentions, but not their myopic reductionist view that vaccine alone is going to save lives, without making sure people has clean water to drink, environment is not polluted by large corporations like monsanto, and oil & gas companies, right livelihood and access of women to microcredit and training
it simply amazes me that someone with that kind of money at her disposal goes through all kinds of trouble (walking through dirty muddy streets and smelling the stench of kibera) just so she can give away her money. This two amaze me. there are so many things they could be doing with that money but they choose to help the less fortunate of us...I'm not a big fan of western aide agencies and many charity organizations but i have tremendous respect for this lady and her husband. God bless them!
I am so happy they come to help our fellow countrymen, friends and relatives. When it comes to ideas, try to implement what works for Kenya, this country is so unique, we embrace Kenyan ideas better than other ideas from outside.
