  • Love this song the most of all her song ....imagine of my younger day

  • What happened to singers and songs like this?

  • What a pity great songs like this aren't made anymore. Long live the sixties

  • This should have been a HUGE hit EVERYWHERE!!! Don't ya think?

  • I think she was only 14 or 15 when she recorded this song...Whata voice she has..Thanks for posting...

  • This is great. Good bye my love........

  • Unless I'm mistaken this was a "big" on the Northern Soul scene n the U.K. because of the slamming backbeat. A great song!

  • This is the best song she ever did. Not the best-known one, but the best.

  • ...where have talents like this gone, REAL musicians?? Anyone think that 40 yrs from now young people from this era will look back at current "artists" longing for their "music"?? No chance in hell.................

  • Goodbye Love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • NICE!

  • @Craig123Jesus BTW, my Q was asking where she is "still singing" - not her descent. But nice to know origins. In my Top 10 All-time Greatest Pop Recordings, "I Will follow Him" rates 7 or 8, and among my Top 4, Connie Francis' versions of "True Love" and "Tammy" ... Coming in @ #3, for me, is "Our Day Will Come" - Ruby & Romantics ... and the TOP song/recording of All-Time: Harry Belafonte - "Island in the Sun" :)

  • @denidowi she's around the Vegas area. She is still active :) You just have to know where to look. She is actually family of mine and I grew up listening to her music. "I Wish I Were A Princess" was the first song I ever learned.

  • @Craig123Jesus It's funny, when you mentioned 'Ital ancerstry', I was about to say, 'No wonder' re singing quality. Then I looked up your previouspoint - only to see you had beaten me to itLOL!!!

Yes; Francis ... My Fav of All-Time ... the 'spaghetti-munchers' just have that beauty of language, song and the Latin passion to convey music.

  • @Craig123Jesus Where? ... In Germany??

  • i love this song and also her biggest hit from 1963 the number one song I WILL FOLLOW HIM. i growned up with her songs here in switzerland and in german language. she had a lot of number one hits in germany in the 60ties, seventhies and still now....she is a big star in the german scene.

last one is MEINE LIEBE IST STARK GENUG.

listen her voice and her feeling for the interpretation...absolutely great...

i love this voice and will allways love it...

    thanks peggy.

  • wonderbach, fabulous little Madame, thank you to keep the memory alive!+++

  • I went to a concert in Lancaster, Pa. yesterday (American Music Theatre) and Little Peggy March was on the bill and sang this song......................she still has that wonderful voice. I met her and had the opportunity to speak to her for a few minutes. I told her that if I had a dollar for every time I played "I Will Follow Him," I'd be a billionaire!

  • @kurtsupreme Yes; I classify that song within my All-Time Greatest 15 Songs ... In fact, it Does make my Top 10 of All-Time: just a GEM: "I Will Follow Him" - true Romanticism, despite the nonsense of today, lives onLOL!Ha Ha!!

  • This is one fabulous song!!! It never got the airplay or attention it really deserved. Peggy March had an extraordinary voice, and this song showcases it perfectly.

  • I loved her nearly 50 years ago and still enjoy this song . Wonderful old stuff !!!!

  • Great old song....excellent sound quality. Thanks for posting this....

  • @Craig123Jesus I saw Peggy here in Vegas a few years ago with Lesley Gore and Darlene Love, and her voice is absolutely aSTOUNDing!!

  • she is true legend no one can top gher

  • excellent ! ! !

  • "Always...will she love him always?"

Hey Brent. I'll love you always! Thanks for your great selections!

  • How sad that s SUPER talent like Little Peggy March never got the SUPER star status she so richly deserved!!!

  • Great song!!!

  • I love this song. never heard it when I was a kid, though I remember I Will Follow Him from my sister's 45s.. and WABC radio in NYC...I have rediscovered Peggy March and I am in love with her.

  • I had this 45 when I was like 11 or 12. She was like the early 60's Britany Spears, except she actually had talent and could really sing (without digital enhancement). What a babe!

  • Oh, Oh, GREAT, am I glad I found this upload, thanks Bren441, this send shivers down my spine

as it is one of my greatest songs of all time, What a song!!

  • I brought this single in 1963.Glad to say i still have it.A great voice,as so many female singers in them days did.

  • I still have the original for this and I'm in the UK. Peggy March is as good as ever.

  • love that voice

  • never thought I'd like a song like this !

  • great song, never got airplay and rarely heard on any "oldies" stations

  • great record, love this song i have the original..

  • GOOD TO HEAR LITTLE PEGGY MARCH again ,thanks for sharing!!

  • What a awesome song with great vocals and background music

  • Once again, I'm hearing something here that I haven't heard since I was a kid. The only song of Peggy's that one ever hears is "I Will Follow Him". While that was her big hit, I always liked this one more. Haven't heard this since I was 13! Thank you for posting.

  • wow if only ppl still sung like this i love it fer some reason? hmm

  • BRILLIANT!!!!!

  • one of the best female voices ever listen WoW!

  • good song, you can detect some of Marion Ryan's 'Love Me Forever' in there!

  • really beautiful Miha; THX

  • Beautiful!

  • tiempo busque la cancion y no tuve suerte, excelente version n.n!!!

  • Peggy was a Philly girl and we all loved her. I agree that the British Invasion killed her career and those of many others. Timing is everything.

  • When I got my very 1st transistor radio, way back in 1963, this song was # 1 on WGH in Ol' Virginia (Va Beach). #2 was Bobby Vinton, Blue Velvet. #3 Ronettes, Be My Baby". Yedon68 is right...then came The Beatles and wiped everyone off the Charts!

  • this song sounded great then and still now its great

  • a good song and a good voice..should have been a "hit"..but the Beatles were just coming into town about this time...thanks, don

  • It appears you are a real fan of peggy's. I was hoping you might have a copy of her release of a single called "I've been hear before." Don't know if it made it on to any of her albums. If by chance you have, I would be most appreciative if you could post it. Iv'e never heard the song, but my brother produced it, and I beleive he co-wrote the song. Thanks either way.

  • Good tune, I've only heard it once or twice before. They used the dramatic "I Will Follow Him" production style (which I really enjoy) to great effect ...

  • She sounds and looks as good as ever! You'll have a great time!

  • I understand that she's been residing in Germany for many years. Any new photos or videos? Thanks for keeping up this post!

  • Hay Vin, she sounds a litlle like Connie. Going to see Kathy Young in Feb in the LA area...Jazzed.

  • a great song from a great lady!

  • Her best!

  • great sound

  • OMG I forgot all about this song! I loved Little Peggy March when I was about 12

or 13. This song brings back so many memories. Thanks!

  • Yeah, you never hear this on the radio. Great song. Nicely done video with super sound quality. Thanks for posting it!

  • This is another great song that we never heard on the oldie stations in South Florida over the past several decades. I too thought it was her best song ever. Thanks for posting it.

  • i love the typewriter tick tack noises in the background. peggy march's early songs for RCA always had a very unique sound.

  • little peggy march cd i will follow him. the song THE IMPOSSIBLE HAPPENED. i got it at barns and noble.

  • I think this is her best song. If you have "The Impossible Happened" or "Every Little Move You Make" by her, I'd sure love to hear them. She was born Margaret Battavio, from near Philadelphia. She was only 14 when she recorded "I Will Follow Him."

  • WOW! That is special information! Thanks for sharing!

  • great song.good memory for 1960s

  • PERFECT VOICE!!! Very nice singer!!!! I love all of those nice early girls.....

  • This song is on the flip side of "I Will Follow Him" on my old 45 record.

  • What a strong voice.
