  • Great as usual. I have uploaded a video with some one playing mani Sir's composition. Do you know the artist?Go on uploading Mani Sirs concerts I want to fill myself with it instead of the useless blood.

  • Clarity of playing mridangam=mani sir.. Proud to say that i am from the same school from where Mani sir came.. Sri Jayaganesh Talavadya Vidhyalaya Started by Vidhwan Sri.HariharaSharma and now under His Son Grammy award winner Sri.T.H Vikku Vinayakram Sir

  • This is amazing! Please upload his desciple Mysore N.Sudarshan's Tanis. Sudarshan plays as amazingly as the guru. We get even confused whether it is Karaikudi sir or Sudarshan sir.

  • This is a mindblowing composition, such a wonderful structure presented and broken down with such mastery and valour!

  • does anybody have that video in which he does a thaniyavarthanam solo...its nt a stage performance bt in some private session....it seems its been removed from youtube...bt that was one of his best performance ever.....if anyone has that pls post it....

  • Yes that video was posted by 'percussionfan'. And another version was posted in french heading i think.

You should find him and ask him why he removed it. I suspect he may have uploaded it without permission.

  • There is no question of permission / suspicion in this. I think the user has removed it by himself for unknown reasons.

  • @sonofthedestroyer i think i've uploaded what you had been looking for

  • Wonder where do they get the inspiration to do all this?

  • Ganesha maybe? xD

  • the comments are not deleted!

    its available in a j s r i r a m dot b l o g s p o t dot c o m

  • The whole set of Crappish comments by "FOR FLUTE THIAGU" by his clones/clowns have been moved to

my blog : ajsriramdotblogspotdotcom or see my profile for the blog link

  • Nobody cares about your stupid blog.

Very cheap of you to delete comments.

  • HUH! you will know who is cheap in few days time! i have given the whole transcript in my blog which is most widely seen!

I am on target and you are the target!

  • Yaa having clones/clowns shows how cheapish you are! lol! If no one cares why the f@#K you care! keep going buddy! god sake borrow some brains from someone before talking to me! huh!

  • Clones? No i am not a clone of anybody. If you know about computers you can verify that yourself. I am here in the UK. It is highly unlikely that Tyagu is flying all the way from India to the UK to make a clone youtube account.

  • ahahhahahah! pity you buddy! If thyagu can write such stupid craps, he will do anything for that! Btw, dont you know the simple thing! how to clone Youtube accounts atleast try to learn if you dont know something!

  • what a tricked out presentation...shdwfng, you are right...chatusram 2nd speed but shit i thought it was misram until like around the 50 second mark...KRM=godoflaya

  • what nadai is this ??? misram is it

  • chatusram (2nd speed)

the giveaway is at 53 seconds

  • wowow what's the time signature?????

  • carnatic music doesn't work like that.

  • well broadly speaking, u can think of at 8/4. But carnatic music is alot more complex than western music

  • yeah, definitely.

  • @defdeezy Classical western music use complex harmony.

  • @mackattack1 Depending on which type of western music are you talking. Classical western music is complex and use developed harmony.

  • in this piece, it's 8/4 and he's playing 32nds with lots of syncopation / rests, so it doesn't sound like a 4-based rhythm even though it is.

you can write carnatic rhythms in western notation, it's just a pain. this one is no exception.

  • Thanks for posting not as KR mani is rare on youtube. I see he is playing a Kappi mridangam which is also rare. I would love to try a kappi mridangam.

  • Amazing..

  • Please upload more!!!!

  • Damn!!
