That's one of the things that makes Miami Vice Miami Vice (a T.V. program & movie, not meant to be realistic). It wouldn't be Miami Vice anymore if he drove an old pile of shit now would it?

You have obviously never watched the original Miami Vice series. They are undercover and in the original series the Ferrari was an impounded criminals car which had been resprayed/re-plated to give Sonny and Tubbs credibility in the underworld. They would not blend in with all the rich drug barrons if they rolled up in a Fiat Punto would they? :P
isn't there an aftermarket system out there to get those blue (other colors) flames? i think there was an episode of pimp my ride when they did it to a 65 mustang... anyone out there know where it could be purchased?

The F355 had a screaming early-90s-F1-ish sound [the one in the clip and IMO (and the producers' so it seems) the best Ferrari sound ever made] whereas the F430 has a more growly angry sound [sort of a god of thunder screaming while constipated... i like it a lot actually!]
