You forgot to mention that when you get more brush techniques, it's harder to use the right one when your on the water. Some times I want to use a lily pad, I end up moving the water. That needs to be fixed.

Okami is overall an amazing experience, when i think about it it's just a whole mix of components that made me love it. Music, humor, landscape, on the wii you really have fun drawing with the wii controller. Amazing game! Amaterasu

Probably the best part about this game is the endless (not a hyperbole) replay value. Even when you beat the games, you still have to learn all of the SECRET brush techniques, collect all the stray beads, and even discover all the secret gestures of the hidden brushes......

I'm sorry, but it is very much like Zelda. To act like it's not is delusional; hell, even the developer admits that Zelda was the biggest influence.

Of course, being like Zelda is not a bad thing. The Zelda series has produced so many amazing games, and several that people have put forward as the best game of all time. So, clearly, it's doing something right.

And so is this game.

@BlodhArget To be honest, I also thought of Zelda while playing Okami. It was this back-of-my-mind-feeling. When fighting, it reminded me of Wolf-Link battling these shadow beasts. The graphics are most obviously different, but Zelda-inspired. When I first jumped on a lily pad, I was reminded of Deku Link in Majora's Mask when visiting the witch in the swamp. And the 'big-flower-plant-whatever' boss was in a lot Zelda games, too. Still, Okami is a very good and different game.

It really does has that 'zelda feel to it. Sure some similarities to twilight princess as the wolfe, but the characters in there reminds me of more of Zelda: The Wind Waker.

If any1 knows how to solve this problem, please reply. If you have alrdy read past the spoiler alert and not at Ark of Yamato yet, save on a new file so u don't make the same mistake...:(

@Creepzza did you save after u got inside the ark? if so unfortunately you cant =/ but if i remember correctly, you have to start over after you beat yamato, and when you do, i think they start you off with the stray beads you were left off with. im not really sure.

@hotshahzrulz Don't let the mumble-speak put you off - if I remember correctly, it's garbled Japanese. (I could be wrong.) There's a few games that use this sort of technique - Animal Crossing, the Sims, etc. It saves on translating and voice actors.

Sure, it can get irritating, but eventually, you get used to it and barely notice. Personally, I think it just adds to the charm of the game. :)

@AnimalCreation PS2. I got it for the PS2, completed it, then later I saw it for the Wii and got that because I thought it would be perfect using the Wiimote to paint with... I guess I either have a duff sensor bar or my hands are shaky as hell, it was tricky to get the shapes recognisably and having to stop and try drawing the same thing over and over really killed the momentum of the game.
