Taking this as a bare-bones test run, I can only say that this should be total dynamite when you get all the tracks laid and mixed.
I suppose you could go with a duet with yourself, but then that might come across as rather bland. Having another person's point of view at any point in a project can add some depth to any sort of work.
@leftysergeant Thats exactly what it is Lefty....... you know I don't like doing my own background... and its obvious that I didn't spend any time.... trying to make sound great, hell not even good....just something for the actual person that will do it to go by....
@lovie2000 Cool. I didn't want to say anything if it was too late to fix stuff. The tune and the lead vocal are solid - no issues there but the background vocal/s are out-of-tune throughout. It takes away from the lead vocal, the song and the horns. They seem to be okay on "Yes, I do" though.
@TruthSerum101 Thank you..... I have a young lady that is suppose to do all my background for me... I don't like to do my own.... because I don't want the tone to sound the same as my lead.....
@lovie2000 Great. I hope I wasn't too harsh. You know I really like you and I would feel bad not giving my honest opinion, especially if I know that it's not too late for you to make adjustments. Once again, you are your usual solid self on the lead and that's the most important thing.
@TruthSerum101 Oh no that wasn't harsh at all.... that is why I am posting them to get my subscribers opinions..... but none of the background is set in stone,..... they are just... I guess you could say demo's to show the person that will be doing it how it goes.... so I don't have to tell her when she gets here
@lovie2000 You sound great on the lead and the song is catchy but the background vocals destroy the overall vibe. If you keep them, they need to be in tune. This is coming from a musician, the casual listener might feel otherwise.
