I have a Z almost identical to this one. Different rims though, i love it very much. Went to school for engineering just to get me a corvette but when i drove one i didnt like how people looked at me like i was stuck up. I even got stars like if they were going to rob me lol. I downgraded to a Z and still get some looks but i dont have to worry about someone robbing me lol and my neighborhood is affluent.
@NWAZ06 Not very much. Bolt ons to a 350Z can easily see high 12's to low 13's. A stock Z33 with the 5AT can run low 14s. I still love both cars to death though
@LivinInFuture depends which year. The 03-06 DE engine 350z will rarely ever get low 13's unless boosted, even full bolt ons will not do it. The 07-08 HR engine 350z are a different story. Basically identical performance with the 370 and e46 M3, the 370 is a tiny bit fster, it hits like 12.9x. Many people have hit as low as 13.1 1/4 mile stock. With bolt ons i suspect they will hit high 12's. I owned a DE G35 and now i have an 07 HR so i would know the difference ha. Theyre all awesome cars.
@TheVengefulCo I used to have an HR and my buddy had a DE. I've since sold mine and moved to a VQ37HR. I know time wise it's a tiny bit faster, but it feels so much better

Brent your an idiot. My brother had a 350z and there only 300 hp. Compared to the stock c5 z06 they 350z is nothing. Stock z06 has 405hp. The Z doesn't stand a chance even after those minor upgrades
Who cares about hole shot. Not sure why people are saying this z06 is stock. Clearly doesn't sound like it at all. Nissan isnt either.
Z06 had a weak but still somewhat of a drag setup. Nissan looked like it was on 19" street tires, cold ones at that. Z06 warmed his tires. Just give this particular nissan props for hangin with a Z06 already and be done with it.

The way that Z came off the line I'd say he's most likely spraying NOS. If he was F/I only then it would have taken a second or two to spool into boost and he wouldn't have been nearly as fast off the line. Though, he did sit there for a split second after the Vette left so he may have been waiting to spool into boost or he was asleep at the wheel.
That Z had FI of some type and no where near stock or just bolt-ons. John Force could not get a stock Z in the 12s so that person below is full of it.

my question is was that a stock z ,like the corvette was?? , I highly doubt it, at best a stock z will run a 1/4 at high 13's this car did it in the very low 12's I guess that's one for the li'l z

i'd say that Z was twin turbo'd
a c5 z06 has 100 HP more than the Z, amongst other things
