  • Comment removed

  • Thumbs up if you start to hate the ads.

  • 1:30 there's a rope tied round his right wrist. If you notice, you dont see his right hand the whole time......this does not bother me one bit as bear has climbed everest and does all this stuff after he broke his back in a bad accident. Maximum respect for the guy!

  • I'm looking for a rope at 1:12

    I don't see one

But yeah, prolly aliens or something. WHERES BEARS REAL BIRF CIRTIFICATEZ?

  • Near death situation? BETTER DRINK MY OWN PISS!

  • "ahh i hate it when that happens"

  • The Cameraman is watching the show while bear is struggling. :/

  • rope

  • That log is a hater and thinks the show is fake.

  • i like how people say this show is fake! even though bear isnt doing to to make an action tv show he does it to show u how to survive, if u were to travel to any of the areas!!

  • wow, that rope saved his life. You can see it holding him up the second he falls.

  • hahahah holy shit, those drums.. are hilarious.

  • that...... in real life.... could've been fatal

  • "Oh look there's Bear poop over there"

"Yeah and there's some from the black bear right next to it"

  • Damn! He's Lucky!! :D

  • Free to run and jump like majestic leopard! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

  • was this fake?

  • @HRHooChicken Couldn't have faked that if they tried

  • Bear won`t get killed by bear,they`re brothers,right?

  • My favorite part: "I hate it when that happens"... xD

  • good job he had his safety line.

  • He said ada hela de hop at the end

  • I thought he was going to eat that bear shit at the beginning.

  • wasnt he in the british army?? or navy

  • @jokerhong123 British commandos i think it was said in the opening of season 1

  • Did he just say "Bear poo"?

  • ALMOST GOT YOU THAT TIME, ASSHOLE!!

  • bear poo, full of protein, i wont have to eat for a month after this

  • omg i cant cunt how often he should be3 de3ad lol..

  • Maybe if he stopped trying so hard surviving all the time...and just sat back to relax, he wouldn't fall off logs and get himself killed...

  • I COULD WATCH THESE VIDEOS THE WHOLE DAY :D

  • @DerGTA4Hater i just did

  • Come on mother nature, you gota be able to pull of a better trap than that?!!?!!

  • Chuck Norris moved that log.

  • God i hate it when that happens...

    HAHAHAHAH ;D

  • mugen18 he does eat bear shit in Europe in one episode xD

  • EPIC DRUM SOLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i was hoping he was going to eat that poop

  • I love how every time Bear is in danger they beat the shit outa the drums.

  • Fake and shitty

  • @trakkaton your fake and shitty

  • @finskeaudun

    It's "you're", idiot.

  • @trakkaton i'm not from america or england so scram.

  • @finskeaudun same....

  • yeah, I'm sure that wasn't staged. And yeah, I know all of this isn't real, but something about that makes me think even if he didn't grab on he wouldn't of gotten hurt. And if it was real wouldn't the camera man give him a hand? Or some of the other prople, producers? camera men? sound guy? nobody did a thing.

  • @ontariobuds actually Bear had his two hands on a good grip, they always ask him if he needs help.

There are only two times in the whole show where you can see him fear for his life and asking for help.

The first time in the beggining of Belize episode (i think) where he slip on a wet rock and the second time when he's about to fall into a deadly hole in north Sahara.

  • @thedarkflowkiller I fell into a deadly hole in the North Sahara. Her name was misty and she said she was a virgin!

stay away from those deadly holes!

  • U sure it wasn't his poo??? lol

  • wow omg

  • In holland it's called Ultimate survival.

  • ofc he has a safety line hes not showing u guys how to die..

  • HOLY FACK SO EPIC

  • 1:13 Nice! Better than CGI!

  • 0:59-1:00 look a black rope in right hand....

  • 1:10, I would of have probably died

  • 1:10 freaked me out i thought he was gonna drop

  • 1:10 freaked me out

  • You can tell he's on a safety-rope. His right hand isn't grabbing anything, and his left hand is holding loose moss. The only explanation for the jerk movement he gets stopping him from falling must be some form of safety equipment they aren't showing. Which also explains why the cameraman is just filming, not helping.

  • Bear: AAAAAAHHHH GRAB MY HAND

Cameraman: Nooooooo im getting a good shot

    Bear: aaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh *spash*

  • hollywood suck, bear grylls does better stunts on his own not like the other ones that are CG modified.

  • will they ever show the landing pad bear landed on?

  • Bear vs Bear. lol.

  • @hanyongxiang Bear vs. Bear = Bear wins!

  • when he picked up that bear shit i was just waiting for him to say: Now this would be okej to eat.

  • @johaanmagnusson i was affraid for that too.. haha

  • @ijaydan that was actually bear's hand not the camera man's. The thumb was pointing to bear himself meaning he was helping himself climb up.

  • fuck the music, it´s annoying...

  • this show might be pretty fake at some parts, but bear grylls is still a manly man. normal people do not have the balls to try and cross a river on a fallen log.

  • If i was bear i would fire that camara man... he didn't even try to help lol!

  • @IrishLedgend26

look at the bottom right at 1:33 he was helping

  • wow...

  • what the fuck? that guy just fell and that asshole just keeps filming it? what the fuck he has nice partners

  • He is to badass... ive seen all seasons.. respect bear !

  • that could have been the death of bear gryls

  • wow i'm watching this for the first time and i'm noticing that nigahiga does him perfectly

  • "I hate it when that happens"

  • Bear is my new Hero

  • ROFL THE CAMERA MAN JUSS KEEPS FILMING HE DOESNT GIVE A CRAP

  • That tree really fooled him.

  • real, fake, that's an awesome shot either way.

  • wow he is really awesome

  • I like Survivorman more cuz he doesnt have a camera crew following him.

  • The camera guy should have given him a Dirty Sanchez with bear poop while he was hanging off that cliff.

  • @d0861 and when bear gets back up the camera guy will be protein

  • I'm surprised he didn't drink his own pee for strength.

  • @Btrstarwolf

Pee is mostly salt, it would only make you weaker.

  • @Shadowdyce11 It was a joke. cuz he drinks his pee like 3 times per episode.

  • @Btrstarwolf

Oh, sorry, I don't really watch this as much I used to, can't wait to that fan vs wild special though XD

  • This just shows how real this is.

  • the cam guy seems to be a "really good" friend :) haha instead of giving him a hand to help him climbing up that canyon, he keeps on filming :D

  • @RicoBlackfoot thats how you end up making £250 on Youve Been Framed!

  • -Hey can you lend me a hand?

    - No i'm filming!.

  • @Chekkogrnteam NO ITS GOT POOP ON IT

  • Bear's show is entertaining, but the techniques he uses to 'survive' would likely have gotten him killed without the extra help. He is a highly trained expert in the techniques he demonstrates, making the use of his techniques by the average person extremely dangerous and reckless- two attributes that have no place in a real survival situation unless you have no choice.

  • anyway he is right person for this interesting program. i really enjoy watching him wandering around the world.

  • how did they make the tree fall like that?

  • GUYS YES HE IS TIED UP...you guys are retarded...He is just doing this to show u guys so yes he is using extra protection...

  • At 1:02 you clearly see the strap on his right hand...

  • @RenaudCalisse you do understand that it is a show, no one wants anyone to die.

  • silly mowron he was tied up with his hand not with a rope before he start to test is bridge

  • The right hand is out of sight from 0:53 till 1:30. So he is tied up.

  • your all fucking retards. this is not real life i mean yh he is in these places but he is showing you how to survive, so wat if he is tied on or not does it rle matter! and yh he is trying to make money but he is helping people whilst doing it

  • even if this fake.

that log going into the river was pretty sick.

  • He is an actor (mostly a moron), not a survival instructor. His show is just for entertainment and shock value to gain ratings. If anyone tried to mimic his "skills or teachings" in a real survival situation, that person would be dead. All his stunts are just that stunts, he has a full crew and pro's setting up the "danger" shots complete with safety gear.

  • yeah he's tied on he says him self " i wanted to test out my bridge" so yeah he was tied on

  • thanks for pointing that one out. was wondering how his left hand found a hold like that. BullShit!

  • yeah he's def tied off. right arm.

no way the moss is gonna hold him up.

  • at 0:53 he starts to put a rope around his right hand it looks like, you can barely see the rope at 1:00

  • i would put i rope around my hand if i was going to try that?

  • yeah, now that I looked closer I actually noticed that when he fell, all of the weight seems to be on his right arm; where as his left arm is free and grasping at the moss. (the moss obviously just flaking away).

But still I mean while the critics always argue that the show is "fake" it's no different from most other reality shows on television; the whole purpose it to get ratings.

  • Dude Bear never said the show was real, its a show to show u how to survive in the wild if u ever got trapped there. Of course he's gonna use safety lines nd stuff, and he even admitted that some things were staged just to show how to react in that given situation. I still got a lot of respect for him cause he's a pro and he does some crazy sh** on the show.

  • @riK987 acually it is real because he sets out to his destination with like 6 guys and the helicopter leaves but if he was in any life or death situation they would help him

  • @riK987 My thoughts EXACTLY! :D

  • @riK987 just adding to what you said, its illegal to create a show/scene if the person is in extreme danger. it's illegal not to have safety

  • @riK987

Acutally, he doesn't use safetey lines except when they are visible and he shows he has it.

Other than that he free-climbes, and only the camera man following him down has a safety line, watch behind the scenes and stuff :P

  • @riK987 But some of the stunts must be for real for example this scene, he's not having any safety line at all?

  • @riK987 The crew use safety lines he doesn't :)

  • @riK987 actually he do never use safety lines made by his crew. The line chief is here for Simon the cameraguy. Bear never have a safety line. You can see that in "courage pill" video or many other ones.

But for the rest you are 400% right man.

  • 1:18 and onward, Bear's screams for help is muffled by background music. Cameraman simply records.

  • It's funny that always when something "unexpected" and "dramatic" happens in this show, the cameraman turns his camera away for few seconds just before the "accident" happens. Thus providing a convenient transition between two different shots, providing ample time for some ropework...

    See:

    watch?v=3qyxzG-DnZU

For another example of this convenient "transition".

  • LOL, someone pulled that log from under him, no way it would fall like that naturally...

  • for a moment there i thought he gonna eat the fuck of the bear shit..

  • @mugen18 true hehe

  • @mugen18 true hehe

  • @mugen18 thought the same way xD

  • @mugen18 LOLOLOLOLOL

  • damn he couldve got screwed over.

  • Hmm, what if Jackie Chan gets stuck in these situations??

  • Bear Grylls puts Chuck Norris to shame.

Discovery this is your best series EVER!

  • its the whole series

every episode is freaking fucking awesome.

  • you know... i seen that same thing on CoDMW2

  • 1:13 xDD

  • whatever he does the other guy does it with a camera lol

  • ieelll he holds is own poo

    (Bear Poo) :):)

  • he has a few ppl that go with him on thes..soo nothing really bad is going to happen

  • 1:14, just a doubt, from what he was hanging on? i don't think it was a root

  • How is it fake? You guys who say it is are just idiots, its clearly not fake, and I guarantee that if any of you were in the same situation you would have been dead. He's ex SAS, the real deal not some joker trying to be a clever making up some stupid conspiracy theory. This guy has more balls than you all put together so show some respect.

  • @RyOneLegend

    What's a ex SAS?

  • Comment removed

  • I couldn't find anything on Special Army Service, but I did find Special Air Service, I presume this is what the acronym stands for?

  • yea was special air service i meant sorry, i wasnt paying attention :)

  • No problem, it lead me in the right direction =D

  • So how real is this? I mean, Are there any skits/stunts? The camera man must be a much of a beast as The main guy guy !

  • the whole point of this show is discovery not a pre packaged hollywood plot

  • @blinkyd182

    i see. awesome thanks

  • wooow...i dont care what laws are in place are whos fake and whos not. that was incredible

  • "Bear Grylls is trained in extreme survival techniques. He and the crew receive support when they are in potentially life-threatening situations, as required by health and safety regulations. Professional advice should be always be sought before entering any dangerous environment." Welcome to the real world people.

  • The camera man did help him, you can see his hand on his arm. But that's okay, I'd want help too if I was about to fall off a huge cliff, lol.

  • 1:33 look this is Simon,s leg :D

  • lol fake but awsome lol

  • nothing fake about that, no one helped him up. i'd take a hollywood stunt team to coordinate this. even then, still very dangerous, trained stunt men die all the time. this isn't a stunt. nothing rigged him up.

  • I would have believed this if he would have fallen down.

  • Why does everyone have conspiracies about Man vs. Wild? -_-

  • Because they are dumbasses and try to find every itty bitty clues to talk trash about the show.

  • When he picked up the bear poop in the beginning, I thought he was going to eat it...

  • Me too. XD

  • My thoughts exactly^^

  • @thelamb777

    lol me 2

I think its becuz he always eat stuff that doesnt look that good

  • @thelamb777 me to

  • 1:33 wtf did he say lol

  • "god, i hate when that happends"

something like that =P hes most used sentence in the show =P

  • Would be more believable if we could see his right hand

  • u can catch a glimpse 1:20

  • Whats fake here? No one helped him lol :P Tree crashed and he stayed there with his hands on the cliff. And then pull, pull and back to top again :P So i dont see whats 'fake' and who 'helped' him here.//
