@chainsaw7700 Check out Omnivium from Obscura. I recommend listening to "Vortex Omnivium," but "Ocean Gateways" has somewhat of a Morbid Angel sound to it if you don't dig the amount of progression in the first one.

Dude, there is no way Reign In Blood is over rated. It changed everything and still gives me chills when I hear it. Satan himself was in the studio when Slayer recored RIB. You are right on with the other albums you mentioned though. I think Show No Mercy is underrated. Second best behind RIB, IMO.

@paublo84 No, satan was in Onward To Golgotha is what satan was in. But yes, there is no down playing the role of Reign In Blood. Reign In Blood was not only influencial to Thrash, but was extremely influencial in the creation of Death Metal.

@paublo84 RIB is a good album (own it) but it is far too overrated and the worst album out of the Unholy Trinity of 1986. Those albums being Darkness Descends by Dark Angel (way better and Gene Hoglan pwns Dave Lombardo), Pleasure To Kill by Kreator and the previously mentioned RIB. Im sorry but compared to Darkness Descends, RIB is pussy shit not to mention RIB was recorded on a hip hop label.
