I'm guessing that it's a .zip file and is associated with the ZipItFree program that you have installed on your computer. You'll have to use this program to extract it. That should be pretty straightforward.

Actually, the video that you 'cringed' at is a lot closer to the actual song than this (And I know that part a the end doesn't count). If you download the midi file, you'll see that there are chords involved. Oh, and someone by the name of howl225 stole this video.

I don't know if you're saying that because my vid jumps from one part of the song to another, or you fail to hear the wrong notes in his vid. He got the piano part wrong, and I've known how to play it on piano for a long time, that's why I made this.

He actually go the piano part very close if you count the fact that in the version of Mario Paint he used can't use sharps or flats. I'm saying that the first in the song is composed of a high E natural and a low E natural at the same time, not a single E flat. And even though he did that with two G's, it might just of been because of the effect that the star sounds a little different or something.

The tempo is a tiny bit too fast. It should be around 256-270. The original song is 131, so somewhere around 262 would work. Other than that, excellent job. 5/5

NO! Save the song as Eruption, go to prefs, then at the very end, you'll see a number. Change that number to the tempo you want. Hell, I've gotten the tempo to 9999 once.

yeah but remember unlike the SNES version, mario paint composer for the computer allows you to insert sharps and flats, as well as more than 3 notes on the stave at a time!
