I really like Sai for the line art aspect. The jitter control, and canvas rotation make it ultimately the best. Painting, I still prefer photoshop.

@vihena Yeah I've been getting back in to drawing from a 10 year lay off lol, and I've been testing out programs to see which one i like better and i have to agree i prefer Sai for sketching and photoshop for fine touches. Ive also tried Autodesk Sketchbook, i really like the work space and the simple lay out i my self have not fully used the program to its full capabilities but Ive seen some really good work on it,

Hey when i draw in high defination my tablet is very laggy and it takes time to follow at what i am doing and my adobe sometimes stop respoding =.= got any solutions ?

@Omegacomics This usually can't be corrected on the software side. Either your video card is too slow, or your computer in general is too slow.

You could shift ram allocation in photoshop (check the preferences) but it rarely makes a difference.

@Omegacomics shading skin is the same as shading anything else when it comes to anime. You just have to pick the right color! :)

@RayzeCruxis the best pointer any artist can give to anyone is "draw like crazy!" just keep drawing and drawing! Pick an artist whom you like, and mimic their skills as best as you can. You'll find your own style from it eventually.

@eyjaynizel I wasn't using Photoshop to do the initial line art. That's Easy Painter Tool Sai. Rotate by holding Alt + Space. ^^
