Daniel Craig is exceptional. Quantum of Solace grew on me with more viewings. I think that because it didn't quite pack the unmatched punch of Casino Royale that it received more negative criticism than it deserved. But Daniel Craig was indisputably stellar in both films. I am relieved that the 23rd one is on its way! It would have been a true shame to only get two films out of the greatest Bond actor.
I´m a Bond fan. I saw all Bond movies....all actors were all good, most of the films was made during the Cold War, I was honestly quite surprised by the positive, Daniel Craig madetwo movies, and without a doubt played its part too well....hope the 3rd movie would be as good....:)

My favorite Bond is still Dalton, but Daniel Craig's characterization is great too. The same basic idea as Dalton's Bond plus a lot more killing. Brosnan has an awesome look to him but his movies were just too ridiculous by the end, just like what happened to Roger Moore's.
After watching a Bond marathon I picked Dalton and Craig as my favorite bonds. Needless to say they've all been better than awesome, aside from Lazenby who's guts I hate. ^^
@Danne9000 Honestly, George Lazenby did some nice fight scenes in his movie, much better-looking then Sean Connery's (exept for the train fight in From Russia With Love ofc ^^ ) and Roger Moore (which I don't like at all as James Bond). And he was not bad overall, he just wasn't an actor, he was a model so he had to work on his acting. But the story is remarkably good. And the fact that Lazenby reminds me a little of Connery in appearance and look, so I thought he was quite good!
@Spyflugan91 The part I hated the most in that movie was the fight scenes, they cut to another angle after each punch which ruined it 100% for me atleast^^. And about Lazenby, aside from being a bad actor he looks really ugly and doesn't "sound" like a Bond. Again IMO^^
@Danne9000 I am a big fan of Dalton too. His interpretation of Bond comes very close tto Criag's. They both play a more realistic and harsh Bond. As a teenager I was always a bit in love with Dalton (I'm a woman btw).

I think Pierce and Moore were good screen Bonds. They looked great in a tux but had the skills of an assasin, and could get their job done. Craig and Connery seem to be straight from the novels. Their Bond looks good, and at the same time looks like the type of person that could kill a man as easy as anything. WOW you guys commenting make it look like Pierce Brosnan kicked more ass then craig, its just because there where no Gadgets and Moneypenny and Q did'nt debut yet, but watch when Bond 23 comes you'll be surprised to see what Daniel has to offer, I mean he's not Sean Connery, Timothy Dalton, or any of the other Bonds its just James Bond, and he was able to play the origins of restarting the series of the character and retaining once again his Licence to Kill!!!
I think that is a very fair way at looking at the way Daniel Craig is playing Bond. Remember it took both Sean and Roger's third movie before they really got their respective styles really comfortable (Goldfinger and The Spy Who Loved Me). I am not fond of Quantum Of Solace but I've got a feeling in my water that Bond 23 is going to be a blooming good 007 film and hopefully will be a little more light hearted.

Yeah I have to admit, Q of S, was a bit plain, the story felt a bit flat. Bond villain was just ordinary. But I guess that was always the risk with them making up their own story, from scratch. CR was perfect! I kind of can see what they were trying to do with this one, Its like trying to show us Bond before he becomes the "Bond." We all know and are used to.
I see what you mean, QofS doesnt really feel like a "Bond Movie." I think this is mainly because, the story is more or less made up. Instead of being based on Novels/Books like the rest of the Bond films were. This is why I think it is wise that the Broccolli group, (Namely his daughter), just simply re-make the Bonds films, instead of just making up their own story.
Please remake GOLDFINGER. It doesn't really need remaking, but... develop the characters more, keep the iconic scenes, modern it up and it would be fantastic...

An accent is an accent, there's no difference between the European regional accents and the ones from America in terms of 'controlability'. Sure, he could enunciate and pronounce it the way the English do, but then it would clash with the rest of his speech patterns and make it seem like he was trying to use a British accent, which is a thousand time more annoying than mispronunciation. Besides, American accents often pronounce 'e' as 'ai'. Listen to how people pronounce 'Creg,' and then listen to how the pronounce 'egg'. WOW you guys commenting make it look like Pierce Brosnan kicked more ass then craig, its just because there where no Gadgets and Moneypenny and Q did'nt debut yet, but watch when Bond 23 comes you'll be surprised to see what Daniel has to offer, I mean he's not Sean Connery, Timothy Dalton, or any of the other Bonds its just James Bond, and he was able to play the origins of restarting the series of the character and retaining once again his Licence to Kill!!!

I think that is a very fair way at looking at the way Daniel Craig is playing Bond. Remember it took both Sean and Roger's third movie before they really got their respective styles really comfortable (Goldfinger and The Spy Who Loved Me). I am not fond of Quantum Of Solace but I've got a feeling in my water that Bond 23 is going to be a blooming good 007 film and hopefully will be a little more light hearted.

Yeah I have to admit, Q of S, was a bit plain, the story felt a bit flat. Bond villain was just ordinary. But I guess that was always the risk with them making up their own story, from scratch. CR was perfect! I kind of can see what they were trying to do with this one, Its like trying to show us Bond before he becomes the "Bond." We all know and are used to.

I see what you mean, QofS doesnt really feel like a "Bond Movie." I think this is mainly because, the story is more or less made up. Instead of being based on Novels/Books like the rest of the Bond films were. This is why I think it is wise that the Broccolli group, (Namely his daughter), just simply re-make the Bonds films, instead of just making up their own story.

An accent is an accent, there's no difference between the European regional accents and the ones from America in terms of 'controlability'. Sure, he could enunciate and pronounce it the way the English do, but then it would clash with the rest of his speech patterns and make it seem like he was trying to use a British accent, which is a thousand time more annoying than mispronunciation. (A fake British accent I mean)

And no, british accents are a bunch of different accents, depending on the british origin, like Irish, Austrialian, English, Scottish and such, so depending on what you are, your british may sound different. Ever heard of the Scottish? They sound nothing like the Irish. Different British people, speak with different British accents. Sean Connery doesn't sound like Roger Moore. Pierce Brosnan didn't sound like Timothy Datlon. Even the way they all prounounce "Bond... James Bond," sounds different. Also, I've heard British people mispronounce the name more than anyone else.

Besides, American accents often pronounce 'e' as 'ai'. Listen to how people pronounce 'Creg,' and then listen to how the pronounce 'egg'. 'Egg' is often pronounced with the an 'ai' sound at the beginning. Which is why it can sound like they are saying "Creg" when they're saying "Craig." There isn't much difference between the pronunciation of those words. That's a better example than the shit you put out. Get a brain, or leave.
