"Crassus" - what a fitting name for the very epitome of crassness and barbarism, all the while masquerading as the defender of civilization and justice.
President Bush's favorite part of the film I guess. Too bad he fail to live up to the billing of the great Roman Emperors and Consuls. Instead he drove the modern version of the Western Roman Empire to ruin and failure.
That is a strictly liable statement of fact, one which can, unfortunately, be contradicted through the use of one contrary example. I stated that the member of the Brutus family who overthrew the Tarquin king used a beard. Lucius Junius Brutus had a beard, as did many Romans of the early republic. It isn't a game, but when you make an incorrect statement of fact, be prepared to be corrected.
I agree, this is the latest TV version. Not too bad really, but at least the characters are not so as greater than life as in the original film. The story is done very well for a TV movie and cast does a decent job.
Buddy, can't you tell just by the film quality that this isn't from the '60s?

Brutus didn't have a beard.
Istojataachatearme 2 years ago
Totally false Istojataachatearme. Just google Lucius Junius Brutus. Game, set, match.
Nautilus3333 2 years ago
No, He was talking about Marcus Brutus. And this isn't a game, so cut the attitude.
