i hav been playin archaeology for 1 day and i find it entertaining in the fossils i hav got a cute small raptor and a frozen amber thingy and in the trolls i hav a small voodoo companion and a drum that plays music wen u place it but the thing i find so hard to keep my head on this proffesion is the way u hav to fly millions of miles just to get 3 sets of 5-9 fragments but all in all this is actually a decent proffesion and thanks for vid didnt kno that they were non-competetive digsites

The Archeology Profession is pretty fun. It's really nice exploring the zones and digging up old artifacts. Useful in terms of money and equipment. Quite glad they added a less-essential profession and made "Harrison Jones" Stormwinds profession trainer.

and waste more time playing wow, i comment on this because i think its shit, if you look at all the money blizzard make im sure they could have added something a bit more fun, it takes 2 dam years for them to do cataclysm, and imo cata is shit, does nothing new to alter gameplay, no new class, just two new races which is only for looks then they went back into the old world n fucked it all up cos ther too lazy to make something amazing, and amazing is what it shud be with all the money they earn

Most hate it... I like it... Except thatit's a lot of flying being a priest. Plus there's some fancy stuff you can get... Only thing is they have to give the artifact to you to solve, and I've heard terrible stories of people going through like 300 Tol'vir before Staff of Ammunae and stuff so IDK, I never had the time to do it, I only got 70, I think I'll start again the Doll and Staff are my incentive =)

thanks for making this video, it was very useful when i was trying to understand it, was a bit odd at first.

it seems that items found are a bit scalled up too. either that or value is very random, found a dark elf item that sold for 1 gold at level 12 archaeology . i only recently started playing at all and only at level 84 did i bother with this skill. Nice little EXP boost too.

@Brady2k10 I actually do find it fun. It is something new blizzard added. No matter how tedious/time consuming it is. I only did it when I was in arena ques. And a "good session" of arenas will be about 2-3 hours. So in between ques it was fun. Not to mention I actually got to see the changes Blizzard made to each continent.

P.S. If you have such a negative comment/outlook on WoW, why would you pick up Archaeology? Or even play WoW? Or watch a video on it?

@vennor128 the answer to your "P.S" is because i can comment whether its negative or positive, i cant watch any video i like that dont mean i have to like it, you may like it but i think its a load of bollocks, too much time spent runnin round diggin up a few bits of crap, then travel back up to the top of the continent just to do it all over again, its basically a gathering profession which are already time consuming, but they only put dig sites in certain areas across the map to make u travel
