Well, we actually struggled a bit. Luckily we found a cab driver who could help us the first day we arrived. For a small amount of money he helped us get in touch with what appeared to be a tourist agency in Kiev. According to them they were the only ones that did these kind of tours. I don't have the adress I'm afraid.
We tried to arrange with the guys on Pripyat.com, but their payment methods and info is quite rudimentary. I'm sure you'll find info if you look around there though.
The amount of radiation you receive is equivalent to eight times the amount of background radiation. It's ok, and pretty safe in small dozes. But stay there for 24 hours or so, and you would likely start to throw up.
Pretty awesome! I have a passion for deserted towns, and to see Pripyat up close was spectacular. Ukraine in general was very cool (and cheap), and I would recommend it to anyone :)

Yeah, I know. I've read about Pripyat for many years, and when me and my buddy went touring Europe by car we thought: "Ukraine? Why not..".
It's one of the weirdest, yet enjoyable, things I've ever done.
