I am waiting for my EGGe from leerburg. Jolly egge and imitations arent as good so if anyone is going to buy the EGGe you may aswll get the real deal.
Ahhh I see, my border collie is a ball nut, we had one of those Jolly Balls, and he has worn it out so much that its like soft and flexible...which is amazing because its 1/2 inch of soft plastic-rubber stuff.
Im sorry they tore up your pool cover...but gotta love those dogs!!!
I do not see how you keep up with so many bcs, I have one and he keeps me busy busy busy!!! Hehe!
Yeah, the pool cover rips are totally because of the dogs. It has springs holding it down so it's like a big trampoline for them, but the cover isn't designed to rub against the coping stones over and over again... despite the claims that you can drive a car over it.
The Hobby Lobby ones are NOT as durable, much thinner plastic and the ones with embossed bunnies on them allow the dogs to puncture the plastic and pick up the egge (defeats the purpose).
Given that the H.L. ones are so cheap, especially right after Easter, it's easily worth it to buy one and see if your dogs like it. The official Egge is simply too expensive if your dog(s) aren't going to enjoy it.
My herding instructor's border collies could not care less about the Egge, while I can't leave my dogs alone with it because they'd never stop chasing it.
The cheap H.L. ones are easier to dent and puncture, whereas the official Egge is puncture proof and durable.

Newer H.L. ones have no embossing.
