I support the Occupy Wall Street movement but it really is fading away. This is really discouraging. The bankers effectively put down the movement by controlling the police chiefs and the politicians and telling them what to do. The bankers own them. I simply can't see the movement growing. I see it shrinking. The momentum is gone. But I still support it.

The problem with America is that it's very compartmentalized. If some mass movement starts somewhere, the government and the media can isolate it very quickly so it doesn't spread. A dictatorship is like a ship with no compartments in it so if there's a leak it will bring down the whole ship. A revolt in a dictatorship spreads very quickly, but a revolt in America only spreads in one group like Conservatives or Liberals. That's in addition to Americans being distracted.

I support the Occupy Wall Street movement but it really is fading away. This is really discouraging. The bankers effectively put down the movement by controlling the police chiefs and the politicians and telling them what to do. The bankers own them. I simply can't see the movement growing. I see it shrinking. The momentum is gone. But I still support it.

The problem with America is that it's very compartmentalized. If some mass movement starts somewhere, the government and the media can isolate it very quickly so it doesn't spread. A dictatorship is like a ship with no compartments in it so if there's a leak it will bring down the whole ship. A revolt in a dictatorship spreads very quickly, but a revolt in America only spreads in one group like Conservatives or Liberals. That's in addition to Americans being distracted.

@reb618 Egypt actually doesn't have another dictator, they're going through a transitional period where the military is ruling thing at the moment. Best believe the demonstrators are not done, do you see videos of them accepting that? No you don't you see videos of protestors still fighting to push through the military rule, its called a struggle for a reason.
What comes out of a revolution is a difficult thing to address you have to be careful but America revolted and they got this.

I don't see their "organized" asses protesting about that. @YouBeMadlol Actually the main tea partier Rand Paul fought the defense authorization act, and he tried to get the patriot act to expire. Unfortunately 6 other senators joined him and no one else.

@SilencerRPMs Ron Paul isn't a tea partier, he's been in office for a long ass time and has been saying the same thing since forever. The Tea Party movement is the phenomenon that brought us idiots like Michele Bachman and Senator Mark Kirk of Illinois who vote FOR the NDAA.

@Occupyman That's wrong bro. Look up the history and you will see that the Tea Party was actually started under the Ron Paul presidential campaign four years ago. He is the original Tea Partier and so is his son. The Tea Party platform was pro-individual rights and anti-war until the neo-cons hijacked the movement.

@YouBeMadlol Tea Party was never about protesting. It was always about getting their people into office. And finally, they've come to find out that the people they put in office are either incompetent pricks that just follow suit with the system or they're simply liars.
It was an astroturf movement if you look at the history of it.
Unfortunately, some people actually did really believe in the rhetoric they spewed but it's just another example of why we can't work within a broken system.
