Unplug every thing from the back of your wii. Unplug the power cable from the wall. Let the wii and the power cable sit for at least 90 seconds. Plug back up. Wiivdhould be working fine. This happened to me today

Check the vents on the back and side of the Wii for dust build up. The system will shut down if it cannot vent properly to prevent overheating. If there is a build-up, remove it using a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment.

someone please help my stupid wii just broke today and my brother and sister are so mad... I really wish I could have a clear and easy to understand answer on how to fix my wii hopefully without having to take it apart.... here's how it broke: I removed my SD card from my wii when the light was yellow/orange and when I removed it my wii's power light instantly tured to red, and when I pressed the power button it turns on for half a second and then turns right back off again.

If your still having this problem, all you have to do is reset the AC adapter. Unplug the power source (AC Adapter) from the back of the console and from the wall. Wait 5 minutes, plug everything back up but make sure you plug it straight into a wall outlet, not a power strip. The same thing happen to me and this worked.

@amberamber6061 unlpug wii, unplug all inputs (not in the wii, but like at the end of the power cord and inputs,) unplug tv, and plug em all in and make sure they are in the right spots. try again. if it doesnt work, hit the reset button. and i just realized, im comemnting on a 1 year old comment. dam if the wii still doesnt work maybe this helps XD
