to the girl who asked how do the ears turn green...simple hun, it happens to human little girls too. Don't use cheap earrings. the nikle and other cheap metals turn the ear green ,but on humans it causes and infection too. if the doll ears dont turn green with cheap metals they will turn BLACK. if you want your dolls ears pierced either get a parent to help or send em to the AG doll hospital for 14.00 to get them pierced.

in the first place most nailpolishes Don't come off vinyl and acetone nailpolish remover melts and destroys the vinyl as well. if you googled that you'd have known that ahead of time. i run my own doll shop for ag and bitty and get dolls in here i have to try and repair for resale that come from kids who destroy thier 90.00 dolls.

Have an ADULT heat up a thin safety pin about an inch long over a tealight candle with metal tongs.They must wear oven mitts or thick gloves and after a few minutes of heating push it through the spot you marked on the dolls ear(try to make sure they are evenly marked BEFORE you have them peirced).It should go all the way through to the inside of the dolls head after maybe the second or third time of being pushed in.Then find ear rings of same width and not cheap or they will turn green.

Look, don't pierce their ears or paint their nails... you can't undo stuff like that and if the earrings fall out/ the nail polish chips you can't fix it!!! You'd have to pay money for your doll to go to the hospital and it's expensive. Don't ruin your really nice, really expensive doll!
