You know, retrospectively speaking from what I read about the critique of this show, I personally may not have gotten about 80% of the jokes had I watched this show when it was on the air(I was about 12), but the visual humor and major serious moments would have kept my interest pretty well, thank you.

It's like a political macabre version of Tom & Jerry. That's how dark it is. Darker then SatAM. but people get sucked into watching it because of the badass ghetto mouse opening where they're all dancing (especially the rat with the dreadlocks) and Moz plays some B-Ball.
