Yes, this is thyristor-diode-bridge. The schematics isn't difficult and based on LM339. It's drawn on a paper and not very good, but I can send you later if you need.
But this solution isn't good for powerful devices because it possess a bad power factor. I mean to give up this principle of power control.
I was planning to try power control with dead-time adjust working as pwm.. Propably it wont work with feedback. I have almost the same setup but power control is now done with big variac. Check my latest clip. :)
I will send my email via pm if you can send pic of rectifiers driver circuit.
На самом деле там не совсем 2 кВт активной мощности, а несколько меньше. Тиристрный регулятор имеет коэффициент мощности ощутимо меньше 1, поэтому считать мощность по показаниям амперметра не совсем корректно.

How did you do the thyristor regulator? Is it just thyristor-diode-bridge? Do you have schematics of thyristor-bridge driver circuit?
