This song is beautiful, and bands like Epica and Nightwish have songs that are poetry, they're deep and for deep thinkers, they can't be taken at lyrics alone, one has to read between the lines, each one has a hidden story, about life, love, adventure, and the big picture. That's why many are drawn to them of all ages and it is why they are often superior to many other bands, that's just my opinion.
@iris5678 I agree with most of what you said. I may have misunderstood, but they can be taken for lyrics alone, for their lyrics say a lot, and yes, reading between the lines is key. I love this group, and can't get enough of them lately. Their songs/lyrics are quite 'political' in nature...tell a story they do, but a realistic story, and they tell things like it is. I will add that I used to like Nightwish, but not anymore with the new lead singer...her voice just doesn't flow. Peace.
