In doing a little research on this One thing that you forgot to mention, or didnt know about is, supposedly they are coming to help us in our ascension. This is supposed to happen in Dec 21, 2012. I think that is why their supposed arrival was planned for so long.

Im with you, if it happens thats great!! Ive been following this spin ever since it started. As far you scaring them off They said that they will show up to prove to everyone that they are here and have been here. Therefore if someone comes up with some excuse that you or anyone else scared them off- it will be bullshit.
