Even if the tapes were illegal, which they probably werent, doesnt negate the fact that what he did was illegal. It was corruption and conspiracy to commit a federal crime. Don't assume everybody thinks he's guilty of the crimes he's facing the fact of the matter is he has been such a horrible governor and has diverted so many funds,such as the Illinois Teacher's pension, that it has completely screwed the state of illinois.I see what he has done when I go to work everyday and some of the things that he has done, although maybe not illegal, never concerned the citizens of Illinois, but rather his own interests.

State jobs were replaced with "his people". He referenced if wife was employed that would help their financial situation. The Governor Mansion is vacant. Springfield is our state capital. He refused to move here, live for free. We are spending how much to keep the Governors Mansion going? He didn't want to move his family here? what did he really gain by living in Chicago? Private schools? Springfield has that. No, it is because the magnifying glass too close for comfort.
