Brilliant writing, but since you're obviously audio engineers (or at least know a few) I wish you'd record some actual voiceover. Maybe even shoot some real footage. This xtranormal stuff is an insult to our profession. Pretty soon people will be making ads this way, and then we audio engineers and sound designers will be out of a job.

Awesome! It's always the guy that knows absolutely nothing that talks like he knows everything, especially when I'm mixing.

I was starting a mix once lowering faders and bringing them back one at a time, this guy starts shouting "hey bring the beat back up, and I can't hear my vocals", another time I got this guy who wanted me to teach him in one day what I've learned over 20 years because he wanted to start his own home studio, he wanted me to teach him the next day for free.

Un-fucking-believable! I thought only I have to endure this kinda work (I design stuff, Indesign-Illustrator-all kinda Adobe related things).

I've redone entire books in Indesign, after sending lots of drafts and clients were happy with them...

But I learned to be content with destroying my work so many times, as long as it's not my fault and I have to design again and again just because my clients are mad.

The thing is... I'm getting paid... and it's all that matters.

As a voice over artist this made me LOL! How many times i have been in sessions with 'creatives' like him! Can you sound sexy yet fast? Happy yet with undertones of doubt? FFS! We want it in 20 (but it's at least 35') but don't let it sound rushed. Now can you do 'buy it now' in blocks of 4 all with different intonations! It's true...sad but TRUE!
