I believe that the poster has done his/her best to translate this song. Every sentence, even every word, in this song is very meaningful. This caused it difficult to give a good translation with same meaning. Translating is not just plainly rewriting the words in English, they have to find a way to make it sound more correct and make sure it makes sense without trying to break the form of the structure. But it takes a long time to translate from one language to another language, since you literally have to reword the lines to try to deliver the same exact message. Though, I guess the translators didn't want to seem rude against the Chinese language, so they didn't reword the lines anyway.

Kinda like an homage to the olden Chinese movies with the sizzling blood splatter to signify that the blood was poison. But, that's just my impression on it. His name is Fang-Wen-Shan(方文山), Many critism has said that it was the two couple togther that made him so famous, cause he's a genius for song/tune/melody writing, and the other is too for lyrics writing. i thought the movie was spectacular. This song really gave the end a particular resolution that kinda warmed my heart though the dire situation that was ultimately met.
