  • Just so Good !

  • Boy this brings back memories. I forgot what a smokin' player he is live. I don't know why everyone gets so worked up about him and another player having the same name. Who cares.

  • I'm sure that BOTH David Wilcox's respect each other.

  • The man is GREAT!! But so is his American namesake! The two are completely different styles. It's like comparing apples and oranges! Some days I like a wonderful apple, and other days I prefer a delicious orange! Is it so bad to like both! I'll bet the artists themselves would appreciate each other.

  • Actually I don't mind the "lame American folkie" of the same name, but THIS David Wilcox is probably my favourite guitarist in the world.

  • Never heard of him. Must have never made it to the Lower 48 ... and compared to the 'lame American folkie of the same name,' this guy plays guitar like a high school beginner.

  • I had the privilege of seeing Dave play at a club in Saint John in 1987. He poured out his heart and soul for almost 5 solid hours. The BEST performance I have ever seen.

  • Really nice.

  • I hate the he gets lumped in with all these "party, rockin' good-time" bands. He is a brilliant guitarist who is highly underrated for his ability.

  • yeah - right up there ....he who seen knows

  • I love David's voice. He's got some real ass-kicking rockin' stompin' geetar licks!

  • Guitarists know how great this is!...so do real rock/blues fans....Please don't compare/demean this legend by debating his talents as regarding the Mr. Roger's - Mighty Wind - Folkie from the USA who writes, sings, and plays his own very pretty little songs.

  • the sound is better on this Video? This cat play a mean guitar!!

  • I love you Dr. Wilcox! I love you so much!

  • I saw him probably 40 times in the late 70s early 80s. No Canuck guitarist has ever touched him.

He's lost the fire, but can still play with extreme taste and he never repeats himself.

  • lost the fire? i don't think that is possible with this guy!

  • Dr. Wilcox, the bad apple, who's layin' pipe.

    Keep rockin'

  • To "BryanMorton": not only do you suck, but, this is the real David Wilcox. He plays real rock and blues on a real Telecastor, plugged into a couple of real loud Marshals. He sings real good, and he plays real good and he makes people feel real good. Please be careful before you make real stupid comments about our favorite musicians.

  • i saw his face, then shit my pants

  • Seen David Wilcox many times and i never had a disappointment yet, keep all the good music coming.

  • David....used to play STARS in Brampton on Kennedy Rd often. Good times. My friend pissed at the bouncer and a major riot broke out. Good times...1983.

  • Yeah! Now THAT is a 'true' axeman indeed!

  • canadian wilcox forever

  • Maybe so, but I haven't gotten drunk watching him in a bar 25+ times so I have no interest.

  • I like this David Wilcox, but don't go dissing the American one...he's a genius as a songwriter and an absolutely amazing guitar player, too.

  • Agreed, both Wilcoxes are great musicians in their own fields and there's no reason for insults between fans of one and the other.

  • I have listened to the American David Wilcox. He sounds ecletic and more spiritual, almost a realized soul! All he needs is a better producer behind his work and skank like Paris Hilton around his arms. It is terrible society has gotten that way. Let's all wish the best for both David Wilcox's, be him American, or Canadian.
