@CONNOR9623 actually, the spartans had much more than that. it didnt become 300 until xeres was able to outflank them. kind leonidas then sent a large bulk of his men back home and was left with the legendary 300. also, there were many allies, which included athens. they also had a naval fleet that was vital to their strategy that the movie fails to mention. of course they weren't exactly 300 spartans strong during the last fight, but i guess it's a lot cooler this way
