  • Thanks! Yes the neck is glued to the body but there is also one strap screw as you may have seen in the video which technically also mechanically fastens them together even more-so. The body is alder wood and the neck is a maple strat type with the explorer style headstock. That's actually why the body and the neck are two different shades even though I used the same stain. Top of the headstock was painted flat black and then everything was given a semi-gloss finish.
