I enjoy the biker culture of always being friendly to each other and waving as we drive by each other (I drive a '69 Triumph chopper) and the instant community that comes from riding.

i ride for legion of doom m.c. miami chapter im an officer in the club and to be honest we are not trouble makers sometimes trouble finds us or the highway patrol decides to pick on us but since we are in crouch rockets we just ride it out

Biker? The people I ride with raise money for tots for kids, muscular dystrophy, and big brothers and big sisters. I have ridden all the way to Chattanooga, TN through all kinds of weather. I think that pretty much qualifies me as a "biker". I don't belong to a "club" except for the local HOG, but I love to ride.

Support their vets and returning vets.

Raise money to buy children toys at Christmas.

Do other things that support our community.

Everybody has a choice.The reason why there are clubs such as the H.A. is because I think these people were handed the shitty end of the stick being an individual BEFORE they joined the club.Paybacks can be f***** nasty.

@yippee42 Most of them join clubs because either they/we want to prove ourself or join something that we had in an earlier time of life. Such as the Military, a bike club is the closest thing to the brotherhood you can get to the Military. There are bad seeds every were..in fact there are less bad seeds in bike clubs than anywere else. Reason being they keep each other in check.

I'm a biker and I own a bike shop in Kansas City and if you know anything about KC then you know it's a diverse place. I have ridden with and met just about every type of biker there is and I agree with most of the things you said, there are the good the bad and the ugly out there but I can tell you from personal experience that most of them are pretty good.

At Sturg we got in the wrong camp trying to make our way to the stage, believe this they loved our music before and after the show, but we weren't welcome in their camp, and very luckey our security had rode with some of em. On second thought they wern't welcome on our bus.

i agree there used to be alot of bad images portrayed in the movies of bikers. being a female in high school in the 70's i had a bad rep just for hanging with the biker crowd. if you have never seen the movie "Running Cool" i think you would like it. It shows how real bikers are. Keep ridin'
