  • That was never going to work. You need an aeofoil shape - thick at the front, thinner at the back and you need it angled upwards to create some lift via a low pressure area that is created above the wing (the venturi effect). It'd probably take a lot of tweaking to get it working right.

    Good effort tho!

  • I love these two! they are amazing! I think it is great that they had an idea and went for it! who cares if it didn't work? at least they tried their best!

  • move the power from the car's wheels to a propeller give it more power and find a way to remote steer the wing.

    P.S. replace ducttape with PVC cement.

  • Hey that's great stuff. I loved it. Nice video, lots of fun. I think your idea might actually work. When the girl is running with the kite, I notice that the kite is not catching any wind or trying to fly at all. That's a problem. You might brace the wing somehow to give it shape so that it tries to fly when pushed forward. Then run the car down a slope so that if the kite tries to fly, the car will float away from the slope. Outriggers on the car may help it not tip. Car needs to drive straight
