  • yah true country where is it?what happend

  • Nashville dropped the ball on him, but he was so talented that he moved on to his own label. Don't forget that Nashville is Money Hungry and has Abused all of the Greats. I have so much more to say, but I'll sing it in a Country Song.

  • true country what happened?

  • This is my signature on my emails! LOL! I never could toe the mark, and I never could walk the line. This man is just sexy,..period.HeHe.

  • That will do.

  • love this one fits me my life, love it or leave it lol hell yea

  • ooh Jimi Hendrix aint got shit on hoss, Jimi can play em behind his head but Waylon can play 2!

  • Nothing better then sittin back, smokin a joint, tippin up some whiskey and listenin to the ol' HOSS.

  • That ole' "Hoss" can make you wanna go looking for a beer, woman and a dance floor...

  • Musicians knew how to ROCK back then. Today it's all a bunch of babbling loudmouth baby brats.

  • Can't get any better than this!

  • THE HOSS! It's sad that my kinda music is gone. Nobody could fill their shoes, but I wish we had at least one more outlaw!!!!!!!

  • absolutely and in Tennessee toooooo!

  • Never really listened to Waylon until the other day, any other songs that have the same kind of sound like this? the upbeat rythm is awesome.

  • @krazydude93 if u liked this, just keep youtube ing his stuff, and listen to the stuff you like. He certainly made this half time outlaw funk popular, and certainly not all of his stuff sounded like this, but it WAS ALL SO DAMN GOOD!! Welcome to Waylon country..... i recomend lonesome onry and mean, aint livin long like this, are you sure hank done it this way, and this time. Enjoy...

  • @krazydude93 you gotta give Rose In Paradise a listen.

  • HOSS

  • right on jamestollison!! well said !!!!! iam not from texas but waylon is respected everywhere,if anybody knows a real deal when they see or hear him, this man can do it he's a hoss!!!

  • and I don't live in texas but I would be willing to help

  • they should and if i was there id be the first one on lol.

  • I'll gladly give you my heart. BUT the rest belongs to me.

  • After hearing this song by "THE MAN", I want to punch a hippie in the throat.

  • Nobody comes close.. end of story.. haha

  • i mean this man has soul in his voice thats the way u do it,good job waylon, and good job posting this, thank you!

  • Now this is what I consider "good country music". The music gets into your bones and 'moves' you. The down-home, boot-scootin, reaching-you-where-you're-at, good ol boy country western music. Thanks for posting. RIP Waylon.

  • One of his better songs!!!

  • Can someone please upload "She'd Rather Be Homeless" ?

I've only read the lyrics over at Cowboy Lyrics. I really want to hear that song!

  • @MrEllenwork The song is from Old Dogs--Bobby Bare sings it as a solo on the Old Dogs CD (Waylon Jennings, Bobby Bare, Jerry Reed, and Mel Tillis) formed a super group to sing about 20 songs that Shel Silverstein wrote about aging. It is hysterical. I'd upload it for you but I don't have a visual to go with it.

  • @sandladyvb

Well thank you for the thought though! I did get to hear it somewhere eventually!

  • Here, Kiddos, is the real deal. You come up with something better, bring it on. No chance.

  • lol "toe" the mark....

  • Htit #6 in Billboard, 9-1-84. God bless! RIP, Waymore!

  • floyd cramer

  • lol the harmonica guy is giving it a mustache ride

  • Waylon is 1 of thee very best!!!

  • so true

  • so true

  • everyone says this but this song really fits me and my woman

  • I'm sure that if waylon went by the rules nashville wanted him to go by, his music would've sounded alright, but nowhere near as good as it actually sounds. He did it his way and that was the very best way. All of his little pencil-necked critics kiss kiss mine and waylon's ass.

  • This songs fits me too well! hahahah Love it.

  • good old waylon the laidies man love the games and more to come for a big bulll. nerv errrr could tow the mark never could walk the line..... blew blew blues man arr here the touch

  • Nobody razzes Waylon. Ecspecially not here in Texas. Im telling you that he related to people so good that alot of people feel like he was their uncle.lol I bet if you went to any type of club here in Tx wether it be rock or country or whatever type of club. And if you was to say something bad about him you would get the dog shit beat out of ya.lol seriously

  • probably. LOL he liked to party.

  • Jesse deserves the " Stars in his crown" ... She kept him around 15 years longer than he would have made it on his own ...

Whoever called Elvis the KING didn't know what was on the horizon ...

  • I am still dwelling on your qoute!I just know you are not razzing Waylon!

  • what is the name of the mandolin Waylons playing

  • nashville rebel himself, he told them to piss off and did it his way.

  • the true outlaw of country music, may God bless this good ole boy.

  • Whatta groove

  • My favorite Waylon song. He's from my hometown of Littlefield, TX. I went to school with his nephew.

  • We often spent time in Littlefield. I walked those rails for many miles, still pass through often. Great little town where my wifes kin, Benny, preached for many years, delivered mail, raised cattle and crops and was a pretty good 'picker' himself. Good Lord Rest his soul. I'll bet he's 'pickin' with 'HOSS' on a regular basis. DaFlikkers on B logspot
