  • A great message and a real toe tapper

  • If This is for kids then FairDoose but C'mon

  • Haha, awesome and true.

  • true they dont mix

  • love this song, man

  • Hi Alan. I like your style and intellect. I posted this link on my web site (music page 5). Ukulele fan Peters Prism

  • gay!!

  • @TheC310

In that case, how YOU doin'?

  • juxtaposition?

  • Who was the young girl?

  • Hahaha, I break this rule all the time... but that's because I'm covering other people's songs. My own songs will never have foul language in them. :)

  • I love it !

  • Is it appropriate to be a litlle sarcastic when not swearing or when not using foul Language? If not, don't go check out my vids... ;-)

  • Impressive, sir, impressive.

I used to pronounce it you-kelele, but now I know better.

    Thanks.

  • Sorry dude.. I have broken this rule several times. Haha.

  • It's from Isaac Asimov's short story "I, Ukulele." Now you know better!

  • OO-KOO-LAY-LAY

it comes from hawaiian words meaning jumping fleas.

  • actually it is OO-kulele, dont comment unless you know you shit. great job UKISOCIETY

  • BUT, if your a white guy from Maine you shouldn't try to sound like you know what your saying

  • No. I'm sorry. No.

  • is there anyway of downloading this, it's ace. been singing it around house all day :)

  • yes u can download it just get "atube catcher" u can download all u tube vids and music

  • @CoheedMars90 - actually it's pronounced "sax -a-ma-fone". you're welcome

  • @CoheedMars90 The correct pronunciation is OO-kulele unless your really that much of a Haole

  • @CoheedMars90 I know it's been two years since your comment, but i'm bored, so sue me, lol. The Ukulele originated in Hawaii, where it is pronounced Oo-Kuh-Lay-Lay. So if it indeed is not a "tomayto-towmatow situation" as you said, then Oo-Kuh-Lay-Lay is indeed the PROPER pronunciation, seeing as how that's how it's pronounced in the place it originated from :P

  • nice one, love it.

  • O.O 0:36 kinda sounded like "niggas slicks" lol

Btw , I think you was strumming too hard on the uke. :P It kind of looked like you broke a string lol . But good job though .

  • ahahaha... "UWK"-uleles plz tell my ur just kidding when you call it "UWK"

  • He's saying it correctly.

  • nice job hope you have a good trip and all goes well.

  • Thank you! I'll talk to you in January!

  • omg i love this!! keep it up!! :]

  • Thank you, Ashley!

  • Thank you!

  • nice video man this is very good!

  • Thank yoU!

  • OH OH OH.. pulease.. can u gimme the chords of this song =D ? im just learning Ukuleles and i wanna play something that sounds good like this ^^.

  • it sounds so cute.. :)

    great song.

    i totally agree.

  • Thanks!

  • Hooray! Agree 100%.

  • Thanks!

  • Sweet! Fav'd.

  • Thanks so much!

  • Awesome video man i love the uke

  • Great! Thanks!

  • haha~ Should the word "emanating" be used in a more elegant way?

    nice to meet you

  • I think "emanating" should be used more often! Thanks!

  • Fake.

  • I know. I've seen a lot of photoshops in my time. You can tell by the repeating pixels here...

  • Shut it.

  • If you mean, "Ban me," no problem!

  • Fantastic! 3:30 Well Spent ; )

  • this is briljant,

  • Very cool, very good song, very good lyrics. i like it very much!! :-)

  • love it!

  • FUNNY SONG ... BUT ART SHOULD HAVE NO RESTRICTIONS ... UNLESS UKE MUSIC ISNT AN ART FORM... AND IF YOU PLAY LIKE BRITTANY PAIVA... IT IS... IF YOU GET SICK EVERYTIME YOU HEAR A CURSE YOU'RE REALLY SENSITIVE AND SQUARE... NO WORDS ARE BAD... TRY "freedom of expression and ukes dont mix!"

  • well said.

  • I would argue that a 13-year-old shouldn't be exposed to that language without parental approval.

  • good job. I agree with your philosophy too.

  • nice ^^

  • how do you make the chords in a 4 strings guitar?

  • cool?... :)

  • Where can I find the vulgar song.

  • ü

i have a uke, but i can't even tune it so one less 14 year old to worry about with vulgar language mixing with the uke. even if i did upload one you would be distracted by the terrible noise coming from the instrument or my awful singing.

  • OMG.....this video is so sweet. i watched it thinking it would be funny to hear someone cussing their butt off playing a Ukulele, but its so sweet, i changed my mind.

  • dude no offence but get a life xD

    nice song btw

  • I'm thirteen and I swear all the time. Profanity is everywhere and it's no longer that shocking to most people.

  • true, the world aint high society nomore, its turning gangsta

  • Muito bommmmm! Abração!

    Hugs!

  • Actually, I swear around my family all the time and "foul language" often doesn't offend me.But of course,I'm a guitarist, not a ukelele player. While I agree that you shouldn't curse like a sailor in front of kids,I think your message is a bit presumptuous about the rest of adult society. All I can say is, peace and visit New York some day.You might find it necessary to curse while here! LOL!

  • this was grate

  • I loved your song and agree. Not only kids but adults swear too much. It is offensive and discourages use of genuinely descriptive terms. Another thing that gets me is people who use foul language in front if young children.

  • great song bro = )

  • i love this vid!!! This made me discover the uke, what a nice instrument

  • So, what is this foul song?

  • i agree. ukuleles should be respected and anything that goes with it as well. keep strumming bra!

  • Who determines "foul" language from other language. Where's Carlin when you need him. Don't be such a damn prude. By the way, yes 12 year olds say lots of fun things. I was a pro at 8.

  • Super cute, but I have to agree with you. Foul language sullies the ears.

  • Hallo, kissses from Greeece!

  • teehee catchy song

  • brilliant song..........

  • So much win in this video.

  • i don't hate him, i don't hate the song, i actually thought it was pretty good. it's just how i've grown up to ukulele playing is in old-time music, and everyone i know says it with the you sound, so i wasn't sure and it bothered me a tad.well , a lot.

  • Good Job!

  • What a great video! And I loved the song! I'm going out and getting a Fluke! LOL. Thanks!

  • i see lots of americans who can't connect with their american child. it doesn't matter really; parents just need to do their best and i commend these ppl for not bringing more into the world and adopting those already born.

  • Great. Loved it. Loved the message.

  • You guys don't pay attention very well. While he says no one should cuss while using the Ukulele, he was saying it more about a YOUNG GIRL who was like 12-13. To be honest kids don't have anything to be cussing about in the first place. Not that they care, though.

  • do grown ups have anything to be cussing about?

  • yes, grown ups do have things to be cussing about. like debt, relationship problems, rising costs of things, and general disappointment about how unimportant their very life is.

  • I'm wondering if any of you are mature enough to know anything, because your calling adults "grown ups"

  • mature enough? his name is breastinspector...

  • Nice song but I can't really understand what you mean without knowing which song it was.

  • words are just words

    they're means of communication

they're sounds formed with your mouth

    nothing more

    listen to zappa

  • liked the part at 2:04

  • Good video!

  • There's no such thing as foul language. Just words. People need to stop being sissies.

  • There's no such thing as language. Just foulness. Everything is disgusting. Sissies need to stop being people.

  • There's no such thing as sissies. Just People.

  • There's no such thing as people, just animals.

  • pla it over and over, 0:17

  • 0:17

  • Best line which applies to absolutely everything- from cursing to being stupid and people need to learn.

"You don't sing bad words when you're with family (like your Grandma?)

Why would you swear on Youtube, then, where all the world can see?"

People have to realize how many people may end up seeing this and what effect it can have on their reputation (or their instrutments) :)

  • Great! I really liked it!

  • that is amazing aha awesome job !

    I loved it!

  • Ur a Huge Flamer.

  • i love this song, incredibly catchy.

  • okay this was something that was bothering me during the video, and i couldn't stand it.

ukulele isn't pronounced ooh-kuh-lay-lee, it's usually pronounced you-kuh-lay-lee. maybe you pronounce it a different way, but i thought it was you-kuh-lay-lee

  • A quote from Brudda Bu's Ukulele Heaven:

We all know "ukulele" is a Hawaiian word. The usual way us mainlanders say the word is "you-ka-LAI-lee". The correct pronunciation is actually "oo-koo-LEH-leh".

  • he just pronounced it that way for the song.... He knows it's pronounced differently. :)

  • 1- Ukuleles suck get a guitar !!!!

2- kids are swearing as soon as they can talk these days so get use to it !!!!

  • What's your Fark handle?

  • huh, nice! ;)

  • awesome:X:-<

  • This song is #*!$# great!

(Actually, I don't use foul language either, except maybe when I'm talking dirty to my wife in bed, or when I hit my thumb with a hammer.)

  • Good luck on adopting a child; I'll be praying for you! I have an adopted younger sister and my family is currently a foster family to a seven year old girl. :) Great song and great message!

  • i wanna see the one with the girls swearin, anyone got a link? i didnt even watch this vid

  • lol retard much, who cares for swearing, they are just words, if you take that much offense dont listen to them.

  • haha creative (= very true too. <3

  • nice song, really! its nice someone shows a bit of moral sense.

  • Nice song. I hope you get your baby from Russia soon!

  • it makes my anger go away. woot woot :)

  • Cool song :) I agree, ukeleles and foul language do not mix. Good work!

  • acctualy ukulele is hawiian and its pronounced (uke-al-iay-e)

  • That was awesome.

  • 2:04 AND 2:27

    AWESOME SOLOS

  • i favorited this video its great

  • watch etrius159

  • watch etrius159

  • Checking girls out?

Don't blame her for cursing so much kids curse nowdays.

  • That's judgemental. I'm not saying I disagree. Hey, wait, is it judgemental to call you judgemental? Maybe Im thinking too much.

  • What a trivial principle to adhere to. You couldn't enjoy ANY of her other videos simply because of a few curse words in one song?

  • ahhhh dude thats so kewl

i love how u pronounce ukulele

u say it "oo" instead of "u"

i didnt know that was how u say it

  • in hawaiian like most other languages in the world, u's are pronounced "oo"

  • thats not how you say it it is with a "u"

  • fav one of my videos and ill sub any 1

  • right on man. Ukuleles are happy instruments, with a hawaiin sound. Ukuleles and foul language, do not mix. haha, I have it stuck in my head.

  • whats her youtube i want to see the vid

  • ...freedom of speech...

  • Wow, you idiot. He's not saying they shouldn't speak their mind, but the use of foul language for no reason is what he is not a fan of. Especially when played with a Ukulele, since when played it makes you think more of a hawaii than anything. Gotta love people who use, "freedom of speech" as their major argument point when people do not agree with them.

  • Don't you remember 5th grade? Don't be that guy. Too late. I mean no disrespect.

    Peace

    -_o_-

  • I love it.

  • I love it.

  • Nice melody, but I disagree with the premise that one's right to use words has to do with age and the idea that any words are "bad." Words can't be bad--they're just a tool to communicate something. Most of the time, expletives are simply used to express an emotion like anger or frustration, not for any truly evil, destructive purpose. Rebuking a child for using any words on the basis of age or "badness" is plain silly. You might as well tell children they're inherently bad.

  • *cough* People are inherently evil, or bad as you put it. *cough*

  • Love your song, and good luck with your adoption!

  • so why are you here then?

  • So you are the person that gets to decide what language is "foul" and what isn't? I'll keep that in mind.

  • it means, he thinks its foul, people can think whatever the hell they want.

  • .........sldjvbp;asdfv';adfbv

    AWESOME!!!!

    DUDE!!!dkjvbs;dbv;adkbv

    Bahah

  • There's nothing wrong with justified foul language in music, but in a Ukulele song!?

Ukulele songs are upbeat and happy. :]

  • best thing ever

  • I only made it about halfway through on account of having to get ready to go, but that is pretty funny stuff man. Good job

  • not the best tune, lol but the message is absolutely BANG ON! and i concur it cheapens a song when artists mix in profanity ... i mean, if you think about it 99.999% of the time, they do it because they are not lyrically inclined enough to come up with something better =)

  • Awesome ^^.

  • You have a really good point. 12 year old girls shouldn't curse or boys. Hahhh...it makes me wonder what is happening with today's youth.

    Nyahahaha...uke.

  • Silly 12 year olds who think that swears make their videos look mature.

  • Thats some cool stuff you got there man

  • this song is awesome!!

  • Hey guys wanna see some real rock music?

Look at MyUnknownRomance channel and see his hardcore rock guitar!!!!!!!

  • so inspiring

  • love it lol

  • i was brutally murdered 4 days ago if you want to live i would paste this 7 times today or you will be slaughtered but if you do you and your family will find great fortune ✠✙✚✞✛✜✝✦✱✬✫✭✯❈✾❅❂✺✹

  • you are the biggest wierdo i have ever seen... get a life freak!!!!!!

  • dude i love it- two things that are important and overlooked today;

misuse of language (especially by young people)

Ukuleles! i have one and no-one even knows what it is!

    rock on

    xx

  • That was great.

    Gave me a chuckle.

  • I like this...maybe i'll try out a ukulele

  • flowed very well man, nice job

  • I always pronounced it "YOU-kah-lay-lee". Do you always mispronounce it? not "OOO-kah-lay-lee". Even the Hawaiians pronounce it with 'You' and not 'OOO'. couldn't finish the song because of this.

  • Rather ironic.

  • you gotta watch "posh slaphead", hilarious!

  • this is awesome haha :D

  • Amen to that.

(by the way, i hope your adoption goes smoothly! We adopted three little ones. I have wanted to adopt a child from Romania for a year or so, but they shut down international adoption in Romania, so i'm waiting patiently. I have two friends that are adopted from Russia.)

  • Respect, and very nice song mate!

  • hahahah i love this!!

  • Free speech = this guy's opinion, and he is free to express it as he chooses. You get that, don't you?

Btw, it's spelled "pompous". If you enjoy free speech, you could at least attempt to learn something about it or at least be bothered to use the spell checker.

  • Awesome video dude!!!!!

  • I fully agree with everything you sang. This was a great way to get this out. Nice.

    (great playing btw)
