Pretty cool. Your fretboard technique is pretty good, could be improved a little bit, but it's far better than 90% of the others on Youtube. A little minus is the guitar, humbuckers just got that sweet round sound you'd want for this song, plus stratocasters lack the 22th fret needed for this solo. Aside from that you did a fine job, and one thing I appreciate, is the downpicking. I'm fed up with people alternating this song... The solo is easy compared to the downpicking I think, so great job!

i have the same set up u just use about 5 different distortion pedals

not really but i use a metal core(Boss) and deth metal pedal(digitech) and you get a really gutsy sound depending on what settings u r using
