@Vercetti272007 My dad and Scorsese were good friends. He went to his wedding and even used to sleep on his couch. This movie was made as a project for NYU. Unfortunately, they had a falling out shortly thereafter. My father died in 2002. My mom, who was also friends with Scorsese back then, hopes to someday reconcile.
There is another vid of this with "I Get Around" by The Beach Boys playing along with it. Supposedly thats what Scorsese originally wanted to use with the scene, but "El Watusi" is just perfect.
God dam Harvey Keitel looks like a kid in this movie.
