I was actually there at that conference. It was an amazing life changing event for me and seeing him paint the painting live was such a beautiful thing to see. Thanks for posting this. It brings back memories of being in Orlando, FL and praising God with so many other teens.

I really appreciate the positive comments made on this man's ability. I agree that people weren't present at this event to worship the picture. I wasn't there, but I'm sure you could appreciate the atmosphere that the people leading this event were trying to create for those who love God and love people. It truly is honoring to God that people have chosen to use the gifts He's given them to honor Him in this way. I love it!

Jesus never wrote a single word.

The New Testament was written decades after his death by men who never met him.

Some of the New Testament was written a century after his death.

There are NO contemporary portraits of Jesus. The first portraits were drawn 250 - 300 years after his death.

No one knows how Jesus looked. The painting is really an idol as people pray to its image. It is also a work of wishful fantasy.

Jesus would not approve of such idolatry and arrogance.
