This is a beautiful stadium. My high school's football team had a play off here and im in the marching band so i got to go free. I also got to perform on the field for half time and it was amazing. i never even dreamed of going in that stadium let alone perform on the field. it was amazing, i love it.

College football is the same - that is why a few years ago - several very small (and very poor) college teams BEGGED to play Notre Dame and Nebraska - just for the $250,000 payday!! They have put a stop to that - you rarely see St. Mary's School for the Blind play Penn State at Penn State. Great payday for St. Mary's - but the usual 84-0 slaughter - and MOST St. Mary starters play second half only - so they don't get hurt against Penn State starters!!!!!!

The Roman Coliseum gets about 6,500,000 visitors per year!!! (That is 125,000 per week. When it was used - they could put 55,000 people in the stadium and they could fill/empty the stadium - in about 6 minutes (there are 56 exits - and everybody knew where to sit - according to their social class!!! And the tickets and everts in the Coliseum were ALWAYS free!!!

Jerry Jones PRAYS HARD for that kind of ticket sales - especially at his prices!!!!!!!!!

That IS NOT how professional sports works!!

For the NFL it is a 58/38 split with the visiting team getting 38% of the gate and NFL, Inc. gets 4% of the gate). The home team gets 58% of the gate and all food/drink. The souvenirs are divided between (I THINK) 70/30 - with the selling team getting 65% - and the NFL and the person who's jersey it is - getting 15% each (NFL gets 5%) so if you buy a #8 Dallas Jersey in Atlanta for $100 - Troy gets $15!! (Not real sure of the exact breakdown!)

I liked your video. However, I was just at Cowboys Stadium for the Eagles vs Cowboys Wildcard game, and I was just in Italy for my honeymoon in October.

Cowboys Stadium is sweet, but it will never be the icon that the Colosseum is. For its time, the Roman Colosseum was a greater feat of engineering than Cowboys Stadium was in modern times. In 1,900 years, Cowboys Stadium will be forgotten and destroyed to build something else... The Colosseum, after 1,900 years is famous and will be forever.

Cowboys Stadium is amazing now, sure, and you can see my own video of it on my page (I had seats near the 50 yard line for Monday Night Football). But it will eventually be yesterday's news...

The Roman Colosseum has been THE iconic stadium for about 1,900 years. Without it, there would likely be no Cowboys Stadium. Don't forget, 3.9 million people a year pay to see the Colosseum..and it's just a ruin.
