Definitely not the best dressage I've seen. Uneven rhythm with abrupt transitions and over bending during half passes and corners. The rider yes, is good, but is obviously doing A LOT of busy work to get her horse to do what he's doing. Lot's of flopping and with loud leg and hand work. It's supposed to look effortless. I give them a C

@ninak2012 I would love to see a video of you riding a GP freestyle. If you watch this video you can see beautiful harmony between rider and horse from how well he moves through the hind end, he trusts her completely and uses her contact as a "fifth leg".

I love at 2:23, the moment where she's just like "Up! Forward!" You can tell he was getting a little low and sticky in that passage and she did an excellent preparation for the transition to collected trot!

You are amazing. period. Probably the best dressage rider ever! Look at how loose and relaxed your horse is!! I love his tempis!!! And his extended canter, that is beautiful!! @HorseGeek99 If you enjoy freestyle, I suggest you watch Totillas and Edward Gal, i find them truly inspirational towards all aspects my riding, I personally love jumping but i still think there a great example of what a horse and riders bond can acheive :)

Very fun freestyle. Love the music and how it's used. I just wish Ms. Haddad did have to crank on the horses mouth so much in the piaffe and passage work. His mouth was gaping open every time they did highly collected work.

I love Catherine Haddad! Does anyone know what saddle she rides in? It is very nice and it looks like it teaches a good independent seat.

The saddle is made by Stübben and costs ca. 1.500 €. It's called either model "Tristan" (newer version) or some people still call it model "Schultheis" after Catherine's late trainer Willi Schultheis. All his students swear by this saddle as it indeed helps you achieve a more effective seat. Only downside: it's extremely uncomfortable as it has barely any padding/ cushioning..which is what makes it so good, I guess. Less stuff between you and your horse. Hope that helps

Congratulations Natalie on creating this lovely freestyle! The fresh, upbeat music is a real treat and truly fits this horse. There is so much music in the world and yet people still stick to what they see as safe/easy. (usually boring karaoke tunes) This, however, is Fabulous!
