I particular liked the casting of Lucian Gregory; he had that underlying, high strung dangerousness which is evident in the book. I think Syme was a bit to much of a dandy, though...
Good Lord... I'm at 1:04 and I have to pause to comment... first of all I LOVE this book, and I can tell you love it too! Everything from the costumes to the acting (the flippant Syme, the stifled fury of the poet) to the scenery is perfect. Thank you so much. I was afraid this was something that could never be filmed :) Now I'm going to watch the rest...

There is something about this book that I love. Stumbled across is by chance, but I think fate brought it to me.
