ich finde es für normalos mehr als bedenkenswert sich so eine rasse anzuschaffen. nicht, dass ich denke, dass diese rasse von grund auf böse ist....wenn er dann aber mal wirklich zubeissen sollte, weil er etwaige signale als ein hund wahrnimmt und auch als so einer reagiert ist die kacke (wegen der enormen beißkraft) am dampfen.

ich habe respekt vor diesen hunden, auch wenn die halter sagen, dass es nur die erziehung ist, die diese hunde zu bestien macht.

Fazit dieses Kommentars: Der Schreiber hat überhaupt keine Ahnung und sollte sich mal mit Hunden beschäftigen. Und wenn solche Leute einen Hund haben dann graust es mich einfach nur. Und wenn der Schreiber sich mal die anderen Videos angesehen hätte, dann hätte er auch gesehen das der Hund nur den Arm will genau wie einen Ball mit dem man spielt. Also frei nach Nuhr, wenn mann keine Ahnung hat Fresse halten.

Schwachsinn sowas! Grade die Leute, die in Hundesportvereinen sind, achten und legen Wert auf die gute Erziehung ihres Hundes.

Eigentlich sollte man den regelmäßigen Besuch auf'm Hundeplatz zur Vorschrift machen - und wenn es nur für ein bisschen Unterordnung und zum Rumtollen in der Gruppe ist.

Ganz sicher nicht! Einen guten Hundeplatz zu finden ist genauso schwer wie die Nadel im Heuhaufen. Vor allem, beim Thema Unterordnung und Schutzdienst, gibt es nur eine handvoll guter Vereine, die anderen übrigen, machen eher den Hund kaputt!!!

staffs are actually really intelligent dogs as they learn quickly, i have an irsh staff who is friendly and loving but knows when danger is around so i dont need to teach her as she protects me due to the bond ... hope this helps.

there you are again. American Staffordshire branched off from the APBT 80 years ago. The breeds went there seperate ways. APBTs were used for fighting and Am Staffs were used for the AKC show ring.

Wenn unsere Politik eine andere wäre und es keine Rasseliste gegeben hätte, wäre mir auch wider ein Staff ins Haus gekommen. Aber leider kannst Du mit der Rasse kein Bein mehr in den überregionalen Hundesport bringen. Und der Mali macht sich auch Klasse.

Man, you guys with your misinformation.

There is no such breed as a "pitbull". This is further evidenced by the fact that there is no standard breed definition. So many mutt get called pitbull simply from their shared characteristics, i.e. muscular, short, broad flat skull.

Am Staff is a breed, pitbull isn't. Only the UKC actually defines pitbulls but no other kennel clubs do that I know of.

You dogs aren't bred for fighting, they're tormented into it by losers with no respect for animals.

More amstaff's are in dog shows then Pitbulls. Why? For there performance and for show! Yes they are know to be "dog fighters" but so are pitbulls. Both every beautiful dogs. Both willing to kill for there owner. And the truth is.. no theres not THAT much of a differnce.

The difference between Am.Staford and Pit Bull. Staford is from the pit bull blood line but nope a pit bull. Stafords are shorter, weight less. Both have same type of body type, you can see the difference in there face. I have 2 staffordshire terriers. Biggest loves of my life.

Dude, your dogs suck. Your commands suck. I can't figure out if its your bitch screaming executing the "hier" or if its your cracking voice giving the "sitz" command. And what's with the tell-tale hand gestures/body language during obedience? A properly trained dog should explode into the "platz" or "sitz" when commanded with just a whisper, and not clumsily settle on to the grass like an old-aged pensioner. What's with the frantic hand movements? You should really observe your own videos.

You've made a good point. That's the weakness of shutzhund training as opposed to real-world training. As a "sport" dog, shutzhund trained dogs aren't necessarily going to be reliable in a civil situation. You've illustrated the reason why people who buy dogs for protection have to be very aware of the training they have been given. The sport is what it is.

No they won't! Have you ever seen a Staffy trying to rip a branch from a tree? They'll bite and hang in the air and wriggle and wrestle with the branch for over 10 minutes! They have a very stubborn streak, a high pain tolerance and are absolutely fearless. Though im proud of their heritage i don't like to see them being used for things like this really.

Really? 3 hours! lol! Ours is coming upto 6 months old and we're thinking of getting him a playmate. Could get another Staffy, but fancy something not quite so hyper! It's a choice between a Bulldog or a Mastiff. I think im going to get Mastiff, it's just they cost upwards of £1200!!!
