  • I have exact similar tank with angelfish in it, you just gave me an idea on how to decorate it. The plants in the background are they real or plastic? Have you used ground fertilizer for this plans if they are real? If those plants are real, do you know the names of them and where to get them?

  • This tank is a cruelty to all ALTUM ANGLEFISHES , much too small

  • what is the width of that tank pleas

  • what size tank is this

  • Nice angels but mine are way bigger than those

  • They appear to me to be pumping their gills . Esp one in middle . look like Swollen gill covers. Bacterial/ poss. parasites from wild ?

  • If you like aqua scaping, please join me at "Aquascapers of chicago" on facebook

  • how hard are altum angel fish to keep

  • i agree to the people before, certainly amazing altums but dont seem to be full grown....nice video either way :P

  • Stunning Altum, though net yet fully grown, are they? I think they can be bigger. Interesting to see the Discus in there too. How can this lonely boy survive in a tank with angel fishes? Normally they are too calm to get enough of the food...

  • @davinci1999

They are very big, but maybe not giants of their species. For some reason they put this lonely discus in there. I think just for the fair...

  • A nice tank actually, because anglefish-species don't need so much swimming-room in the lengt, but in the hight of the tank indeed.

But i saw much bigger altums before, about 50 cm! from upper- to under-fintip in height!

We have a little educational-zoo here in Zwolle in the Netherlands, where they have a huge South-America tank(like a little swimming-pool!), in which swimm P.scalare too.

  • @WILLYBACOBOY

Oh i'd love to see those giants, too. Zwolle is about 200km from my hometown.

  • @n03lzz Hi! I think you heard about the Ecodrome in Zwolle.

In their little Amazon jungle house, they have this fishtanks, with only fish from the Amozon area.

The tank was build by the same man as my biggest tank at home, Nanne de vos from Biotopia in Arnhem.

  • @WILLYBACOBOY

Apropos.. Have you seen that video called: "Amazonas in Thüringen (105.000-Liter-Aquarium)". You can find it in my favorite-list.

  • @n03lzz I hope part one of the answer shows up, i couldn't find it.

Part 2;It is from the man i told you about, Nanne de Vos, who build my living-room tank too.

Specially the pond-aquarium project in a garden of a rich man(it did cost him 1 million euro's!), which was a Thailand biotop first, but is a South-America-biotop now.

It is outside as i said, but you can see into it from the basement too!

    See part 3

  • how tall is this aquarium?. the altum scalare are magnifecent in this tall aquarium, i would like to live close where you film this videos lol.

  • @juanjesuschong:

This tank is about two meters high... that's 6.4 feet.

  • Those are some nice angels!

What's the Discus in there for? lol

  • PErhaps they wanted to show that discus are not the emperrs of the freshwaters anymore.

  • @animalmastermtd:

    I don't know.^^

  • Der Diskus leuchtet schön rot. Sehr gute Aufnahme der Skalare.

  • @garnelenheike:

    Danke für deinen Kommentar!

  • Das ist eine GroB aquarium.

    working on German again ;)

  • @OCtrackiepac:

Hi, not bad. To be 100% correct:

    Das ist ein großes Aquarium.

  • @camotharpo:

As you can see in the trailer of this series: More videos of very beautiful discus will come. Stay tuned.

  • Beautiful tank but the discus run the beauty altum algels need to be kept alone for their beauty.

There a nice takashi amano tank with only altum angels its awesome .

  • @commonSagitario:

Yes, the discus seems a bit "misplaced".

  • Correct me if I'm wrong but does the light change twice during the duration of the vid? At first, it looks yelllowish, then bluish, then reverting back to yellowish. I prefer the yellowish, as blue makes me think the waters full of detergent

  • @blownable:

I had to change the camera during the video. I made the overviews with a different one than the closeups (I did that in most videos of this new series).

  • Sieht klasse aus , wie stolz die Skalare in dem Becken schwimmen .

  • @wannermike2:

Ja das sind wirkliche Prachtexemplare gewesen.

  • very nice tank !

  • @jinnee66:

Yes true. Thanks for your comment!

  • Fully grown angels? Maybe because the size of the tank. I have seen a 16" and he was big, i would have bought him, except for the fact he was $60.00 and most likly would have killed my angels since they were 4". 5/5 once again :)

  • @FishTankFanatic:

I'd guess their size 25+ cm or 10+ inches.

  • VERY nice angels!! But I'm not sure what place the discus has there... It looks good, but I think the tank would have had more strength as just an angel tank =) Just IMO

  • @wrathofthepuppy:

    I agree!

  • awesome!

do you know the size? (or is it measurements? i learned all this sht one time xD)

  • @Question150:

The size of the tank, or the altums? The tank is about two meter high.

  • the tank, thx

  • beautiful tank, awesome angels :)

  • @ZakMacca:

    Thanks for your comment!
