@TheYemenight it can't be his will to write this. If your god is to exist and I'm assuming you are either Christian, Jew, or Muslim. You have free will, that means god does not will you to do anything. You make all your choices and responsible for every action you take. If you say it is a miracle the god had you write this, then you have a low standard for miracles.

and what was stereotypical ancient Egypt? a society run by religion. they get all their information from the prophecy in this clip. to them they think the information from the prophecy is coming from god. they worship this god (see them bowing to it?), thus it is a religion.

the joke was that because of religion they don't have to do any critical thinking.

"their information from the prophecy" - Actually, they got their information from priests that interpreted the information however they wanted, although the king did have more power over his priests than say the Chinese Emperor over his nobles. "is coming from god" -A set of gods actually. I'll go as far as a joke about this sort of religion.

People to this day believe an old book that has been translated many times historically by people with an agenda, a book with self-contradicting verses and mystical events that defy the laws of physics, has more informational merit than a self-correcting experimental process called science, and should be taken seriously and obeyed without question.
