The organist is/was called Peter London. I often used to see him playing in The Montague Arms in New Cross in the early 80's, accompanied by a drummer (who, I recall, closely resembled Captain Birdseye) . They would happily attempt to play any song you cared to suggest, and usually pulled it off.
Not Elton, or Reg. You might find Reg backing some Motown bands ( i.e., Major Lance ) with 'Bluesology' or playing piano with Long John Baldry. Elton Dean was their guitar player; now you know where reg got his stage name.
Wayne Gibson & The Dynamic Sounds. South London rock band. Jan, 1962. Members were Wayne Gibson(Vocals), Mick Todman(Lead), Ray Rogers(Bass), Pete Gillies(Rhythm), and Larry Cole(Drums), but you're right, it's looks alot like Reg looks now, i know exactly what you mean :)

Veiwing again I suppose it looks more like what EJ would later look like than he did at that time. (If that makes any sense!)

No, not EJ but it never hurts to check and see...never know when someone may stumble on something really rare.

absolutely, 100%, not a 17 yr old Elton John (his age in 1964)

Longtime EJ fan here and I agree, it's not him. Cool tune, though.

This is actually from a show called The Beat Room, 1964. And no, it's not Elton John.
